Good feedback. Some tips that my team and I use have proven to work well. We use the Figma Section containers. Then we have a custom project/status bar placed at the top of the sections container over our screens. The cool thing with this project/status bar component is that we can span all frames or place individual ones over certain frames. This helps us communicate if all the frames in this project share the same status or if some are complete and some that we are still working on. We also use the Jira widget to place Jira tickets in front of the work (in the section container). This also helps us ensure we have round-trip communication between Jira and Figma, and it ensures that we are not working on projects with missing tickets. Two benefits of using the Section containers is that the title can be read regardless of the zoom level on the page, and similar to Frames, we can link directly to a section container. A few benefits of our project/status bar component is that it includes avatars of all of our Designers, PMs and Developers so that it is clear who is working on the project. It also includes a start date and a last edit date. This has proven to be super helpful when we have had to return to a project many months later.

Those are all great ways to add good functionality to a Figma file. Thanks for the comment :)
