Det hører med til historien at Einar kjørte helt ifra Trondheim tur retur Fyresdal med Maco,n i 1978. Alle de andre kom til dragrace med sine biler på henger.
It is part of the story that Einar drove all the way from Trondheim round trip Fyresdal with Maco, nine in 1978. All the others came to drag race with their cars on a trailer .. Einar won MS in his class with a time of 13.1 seconds on Kvartmila which is standard on drag race. A record that stood for 7 years
