Same here! But I had the same problem with that Sting song that has the line about "fields of barley". For the longest time, I thought he was saying "fields of Bali"? Actually, either works!
That rock section down the middle of the able is nothing but a horrible looking dust & dirt trap...rather off putting considering that it is supposed to be a dining table. I have a strong feeling that the gal "dining room" homeowner's tears were NOT to express joy! SAD! Both rooms would fit quite well in a theme type hotel; however, NOT in a home for day-to-day living.
its only alright maybe acceptable in the 90s not nowadays it was entertaining pity dont have these shows anymore sometimes the owners dont like it and flip out
It’s old I know but These two are both my fav designers … they were always so clever. Graham gets my vote every time. Rewatching after years.
Bali! I thought they were saying barley! Oops! 😄

I believe both rooms transported one to another place, loved both rooms.
The carpenter is a genius there is nothing he cant do.
I instantly like this because the host looks just like my dad in the 70's
Adore the bamboo room
Laurence😍😍😍😍😍 love of my life!
Ditto :)
I liked the Bali bedroom but not so keen on the oriental room. I don't think the wall colour worked. I did like the table.
Liked both of these rooms
Not too sure the woman in the yellow jacket liked her room. I don't really think those were tears of joy. She looked horrified for a moment there.

Handy Andy
Loved this programme, but I much preferred it when smiley, smiley Carol Smillie presented it.
Painting over wallpaper.. pet hate.
Luke Stratton I agree with you Luke it is my pet hate as well, just lazy decorating ugh makes me triggered 🤣
Luke.i agree.you should not paint over wallpaper.i admit to being a bit of a coward though.those colours were too dark for me.its daunting and gloomy.
