My theory is that the LM is just such a DIFFERENT foundation. Its ingredients list looks like nothing I’ve seen before (kind of oil-based, but those very lightweight oil alternatives). So it means you have to choose the right primer/powder to pair with it or it could go horribly wrong, while water or silicone based foundations are much easier to work with! Try Supergoop’s matte sunscreen, friend. It blurs and doesn’t feel greasy. It’s basically like the one you tried today just with a higher spf AND is a great primer. Please don’t piss me off by not wearing sunscreen anymore!

If you’re looking for a good everyday sunscreen the Korean beauty brands are where it’s at! Look for anything that’s a sun milk , serum or gel texture. They’re perfect as just an everyday moisturizer on my oily skin. My favs are the skin 1004 sun serum and beauty of Joseon sun serum. No white cast and dries down like a gel or lightweight moisturizer.

I love Numbuzin and Skin Aqua (Korea and Japan). Asian sunscreens are so far ahead of what our FDA has allowed US brands to sell us. They haven't approved any new active ingredients in over 20 years here!
I feel you on the sunscreen struggle.. People get really upset when someone says they don't use sunscreen regularly.. And I say to those people lucky you for having a nice normal or dry skin, but for my oily acne prone skin I am yet to find a sunscreen that is not greasy and oily, or does not break me out, or does not make me look like a peely ghost😂
You need to use a Japanese brand spf try skin if aqua gold UV spf 50 !!! Instead of a thick sun cream, it feels like a satin thin gel essence it’s amazing!! It’s not sticky tooo

I think I might try the nyx sunscreen primer because I have oily skin, not going to lie I am just starting to use sunscreen under makeup 😂 for the same reason, I just recently found one last year that works for my skin. I also have issues with the white 🐻❄️ cast and my eyes are sensitive to most of them, they make my eyes burn and water really bad, but the biore aqua essence "Japanese brand" is the truth! It's reasonablely priced on Amazon, it's not too oily, I probably don't use enough either 😂 I just try to make sure I cover my dark spots and freckles so they don't get darker,and I'm trying to be more consistent using one because I've started using actives on my face therefore I need to use sunscreen, I do just use a regular sunscreen on my neck and chest that I get from the dollar tree 😅. I feel like the Nyx sunscreen primer looks to be even more matte but I am also very frugal when it comes to most of my products so I'm not really sure if the amount/price point is going to be an issue for me I'll probably try the elf one as well and see which one works best maybe if the elf works it'll be more worth the price, comparable to how much you get, like the elf halo glow was a better deal than the juvia's place . Juvia's place is all over the place with their prices I'ma need them to calm down lol I just got 2 of the elf camo blushes I felt like the juvia's place blushes were a little steep imo for what it is but they do look beautiful on you 😍❤

I think that's a perfect foundation shade match for you and looks great on your skin. I don't think it's a product for me, but good for you for finding such a great product for you. I love the blushlighters! I like a natural look so don't like a strong blush and it's so hard for me to get color without it going over with some liquid blushes. These are great on my mature dry skin. I don't think I'd use the radiance boosters though. I have a great Chanel highlighter stick that gives me super target luminosity that's very soft and natural. The only area I'd like the broader glow is exactly what the blushlighters do.
I also don't wear sunscreen everyday because if I do go outside it's a few minutes at most but I will say K or J-beauty sunscreens are the way to go. Why do I feel like those glowy blushes were going STRAIGHT into the little cousin donate box 😂? The fimal look was gorgeous though, even though I know you're not here for the glowy life. I might have to check out that Nyx sunscreen. I've used the Lancome UV Exper for years, b/c it's not greasy and works well under makeup. But it is pricey.
I don’t do TikTok either. I simply prefer long form content I am on Instagram which is a happy medium between the two forms of content. Plus I love the photos. I have both the JP and the Elf version of the filters. I also have the CT and Dior filters. The only one I haven’t tried yet is the Dior version. I prefer the Elf version over the JP for the same reason you don’t. I like that glow 😆. Plus I had a really hard time choosing a shade from JP and the shade I finally settled on is a bit off with the undertone for my taste. The CT one is also nice but the Elf is just as good in my opinion and way cheaper.
Hey Tina I hate that greasy sunscreen look & feel too, last summer I heard about Trader Joe’s Daily Facial Sunscreen SPF 40 - it’s a gel formula and it is not greasy at all and it’s $9.99, I believe it’s a dupe for one of the supergoops. Check it out - you might like it.
I don’t trust nobody’s review from TikTok simply because people don’t use common sense. They just buy whatever is trending at the moment. They don’t take into consideration the formula and if it’s suitable for their skin type, if it’s the finish or coverage that they like…it’s annoying. When the product doesn’t work out then they leave a negative review when really it’s just user error. 🤷🏾♀️
I go on a TikTok for probably like 10 minutes a day but not for any beauty content (unless it's someone I also watch on yt). None of those TikTok girls has it IMO
"I don't mind aging" YASS tell that for the people in the back😂I hate that we became so obsessed with antiaging and stay looking 20 years old for the rest of our lives..why can't we live our life and enjoy it without having to worry about a wrinkle or a sun spot? You have amazing skin! So l’m shocked to hear that you dont wear sunscreen. I went on accutane for 9 months so i had no choice hut to try it. An unintended side effect was all my dark spots went away and bow that ive been iff accutane for a year and kept the sunscreen in my routine in convinced rhe sunscreen was what made my dark spots stay away. Try the tatcha pore perfecting sunscreen (sold on tacha its not on sephora). Its like a pore primer. Not greasy at all. I think its the one you because you are oily. Please try it!!!! Apply a lot and you still wont be greasy. Living in florida i dont want to see you have hyperpigmentation ruin that gorgeous skin. Its worth it to so sunscreen. Join us over here girl!
