For those who don’t know Carman, she’s right about the ground he broke. His largest attendance record was actually 80,000. IMO he was the most dynamic performer to emerge out of Contemporary Christian Music. He had such a talent for exciting people about God. Explore his music...you want be disappointed.
However, it sad that he passed away 3 years ago. However, his music lives on. I share all the time on my facebook. I know I will see him one day again.
The movie they’re talking about is The Champion (not to be confused with his song of the same name). It’s about a retired boxer who is forced to return to the ring. It’s my favorite Christian movie set in the modern era.
