    This is one of those exercises where big strong guys watch someone do it and think it'll be easy to do.
    Then when they actually try it and get half way through the first rep before falling over.

    Careful with this, I strained my abs and they felt sore for like 2 months. This was after training for years, just went to hard one day

      Yeah, becareful when doing this workout know your limit. I think I tear the muscle when I doing this over my limit

      That’s like level 100,000. If kneeling gets too easy, do standing with a band attached overhead to reduce some load.

    If any one can do regularly hallow body hold for 1 minute hold or more & hallow body rocks then you can do easily exercise with ab roller.

    I tried regressing this movement to my client, using a trx while standing or kneeling, closer or away from the anchor point.

    I have to wear a heavy band around my knees or else my legs nerve pain come back especially above the outter ankles like stabs in the soft bone

    Lvl 100 would be on your feet, not knees

    Are you training similar core activity when doing overhead walks and if so would being strong on overhead walks make you strong in this exercise

      No, it's a very different pattern of core activity. Although overhead walks are also a good stability exercise, they challenge shoulder stability much more than abdominal, trunk, or spinal stability.

    Damn my back hurts when performing this exercise, maybe I'm doing something wrong. Its myg first time using the wheel and I tried doing everything exactly as it is but my back still hurts especially when I have to come back up

      Having just performed the exercise myself and running into the same problem, I figured out what we were doing wrong. We were not bracing our core. Here is a short by Squat University that explains this further. It's about squats but it also applies to ab rollout.

      You can get injured from any strength exercise if your form is poor or you train too hard. This exercise is hard, so you have to build your abs first.

    First off…. The ab roller isn’t that hard , that’s mostly just wrapping your head around the exercise
    But that inch work the way she does it is waaaaaaayyy harder

    That’s not excellent ab rollout, you should have a hollow body at all times and should be pulling from the abs not legs or arms.
