The caub is pretty important as it allows this exploit to be used forever, however it isn't needed.
Like mine doesnt open when i press the shift alt s mine dont work and it because i updated it can u find an other way

You can do the second part if you're still on version 118, but the CAUB stops the update.

the Caub stops the chrome update, so you don't technically need it, but for longevity you will want to do it.

When your at the network not available page, click the help button. After, click diagnose then click add other wifi network. it should pop up some configuration bullshit when it loads. After, click wifi then open in settings.

If you've updated then you can't do this specific exploit anymore.

Yes you have to re-enter the browser. However, extensions, bookmarks, etc. will save.

Bro I didn't do the CAUB part cuz it was blocked so i troed doing the 2 lart where you click test nav i tried it and there is no test nav. My chromebook has dac app, securetestbrowser,drc insight,bluebook

I got it working at school. I tried it at home and get stuck at “add other wifi network” it never loads up kiosk mode it actually just finds other networks (yes my wifi is off)

It worked but every time I go on a usually blocked website it just says network error. I think this is because I am connected to school Wi-Fi, but that’s the only Wi-Fi I can connect to at school

Most schools have proxys that still block some things but most still work like my school usually has cool math blocked but on this it works but things ik dont work for me is cloud gaming things

Unfortunately this won't work for very long because most school networks automatically install firmware updates within.
I got a asus chromebox 4 that was stolen, bought it from ebay. Don't know if there's a work around for that disable. Apparently Google disables the device if it's reported. It's a celeron model, so I don't care if anybody knows.

Ok kids, here is how you do this for realsies. What you actually need to do is create recovery media and do a fresh install of chromeos. This will wipe it clean and give you a clean slate without nuking core system functionality. This will work on any version of chromeos and not require any stupid workarounds. The utility you need is Chromebook recovery utility and a 16gb flash drive along with another Chromebook or pc. Please do not do what this guy is doing, as you are leaving yourself vulnerable to security risks by not updating ur browser.

This works, you just can't use older versions thanks to Google. I've got my school chromebook unenrolled when there was another way and afaik the tech guys at my school don't even know. Also, you can use an 8gb USB. No 16gb needed, unless its all you have.

Yeah you have to click on the add user button in the top right of the new tab page. Type the whole email in and it should work.

The caub basically forces a metered connection on the school network. It is usually disabled and won't let you turn it on from settings. The whole point is to use your school wifi. Other network connections can be switched to metered under advanced network settings.

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that they already have sent out the update that patches this. This is for users that have not updated yet.
How to get suspended from school
You're not messing with any system files or un-enrolling the Chromebook from the school, so I wouldn't think you would get suspended... but it probably depends on your track record.
