  • We have been staying at the Nai Harn resort in Phuket Thailand and while exploring Nai Harn Beach we stumbled upon the Wat Nai Harn Temple and monastery also called Samnak Song Monastery Phuket. We explored it's beautiful buildings and surroundings.

Thanks for sharing. I’m leery of the heat. Very interesting and looks like it was worth the effort and pants! Lol😂

Hey, Erin! Well…we get it on the heat:). Yikes it was hot!! How is CDMX? Are you doing ok with the altitude and air? What do you love and what’s something we could learn from you?! We have our Mexican residency and CDMX is coming up for us. Let us know, and happy travels to you!!:). We so appreciate you, Erin:)

@@dchiddengems we’ve been to CDMX twice and my husband wants to move here. It’s a big city and not as polished as SMA, which we like. We are really enjoying our neighborhood, all the coffee shops and food. There is so much to do with many museums and historical sites. The weather has been perfect and no noticeable pollution. Right so skies for us but it may depend on when you visit. If you want fancy food try to make reservations in advance, i.e., Pujol. It seems to be a very gay friendly neighborhood where we are in Condesa/Roma/Hippodromo. But I think most people here are accepting in many ways.

Hey, Erin. That’s great to hear. We are excited to get down there and spend a lot of time. So glad to hear the air isn’t bothering you. We’ve heard how wonderful the weather is almost year-round, but several folks have shared concerns about air quality coupled with the higher altitude. We are looking at those exact areas. If you have any additional learnings or recommendations we’d love to know. Scheduling ‘25 now. Thanks as always, and happy travels, Erin!!:)
