there was a girl I really loved, she was like a sister to me, she loved all the Avicii's songs and we spend hours singing all of them while playing online. But she had a lot of problems, she had severe depression, i watch her fade away day with day because of that. she took her life on December 6, 2015. Now, 4 years later, on the same day, I see this, this tribute concert. I dont believe in anything, but this is a huge coincidence. Tim and Paola, I hope you have found the peace you deserve, i will never forget you, and I miss you so much...

Tim you made young people vibrate, but not only. The degree of your compositions and the depth of your words were worthy of a great master. You wanted it that way, but we miss you, we regret you, we will never forget you! Rest in Peace where the music is eternally beautiful!

I listened to the nights and the line "Some day you will leave this world behind so live a life you will rememeber" stuck with my afterwards... He left but he made something quite special
I got second date with my girl in 2012 when I said Avicii is the best and she was supprised that I know his music, yesterday after almost 8 years together we were crying together. Thank you Avicii for all the beautiful moments, your music makes me feel young again.
The worst part is that, if you listen closely to all of his songs, it is impossible not to consider if it was his mental health struggles that made his music so deep, passionate, and hopeful. It is tragic to wonder if it is what killed him that made his music so good, and so helpful for others going through similar struggles. Sometimes there is nothing better than a good song to remind you that life is worth the struggle. Perhaps he wanted everyone to know they are not alone in that suffering.

We have many millions of viewers outside of this arena. Thank you to all the DJs that initiated this concert and the singers that you will soon hear. They have all refrained from receiving any reward, in the memory of Tim and for the Tim Bergling foundation. A big thanks to Stefan Olsson that has created the events for the concert, Carl Falk that has been involved in the production and to the fantastic orchestra that you will hear tonight. The fifth of December will be the official day that we take notice of the foundations work and Tim's memory. We miss Tim, but he is with us tonight through his music. Avicii made it okay to like edm. I’ll never forget having hidden music in my MP3 player and my friend (who was into rock n roll) turning on “Fade Into Darkness” as we drove to the beach on a Florida, Thursday night. I’ll never forget senior year where “Levels” taught me that sometimes, I have a good feeling. My freshman year at college told me I should never look back at the faded “Silhouette” and throughout that time I was reminded to talk to my “Brother”, told that “I could be the one” and enjoy “The Days” and “The Nights” I was given. Sadly, a “Dear Boy” sent me an “SOS”. I guess like I was, he was “Waiting for Love” like I was. He couldn’t find it and was shooting “Broken Arrows” in the dark. Well sadly, now we’re attempting to now carry on “Without You”. Tim...thank you for being the voice of a lost generation. Thank you for making it “okay” to like edm. The most influential artist of the 2010’s. Forever in our hearts.

This released on my birthday and I first found Avicii, his song Fade into Darkness woke something in me that shook me to my core. I heavily hyperfixated on his music and music videos after I heard his song and became so obsessed with all of Tim’s music. Avicii was my favorite artist in the beginning and he’ll always be my favorite artist. All of his songs brought me out of depression and I’ll forever thank Tim for his music and the beauty he’s shared with us. I’m crying at each song played. Man, every single vocalist knocked it out of the park, but Aloe Blacc especially was absolutely amazing. He's just so good and I'm happy he came out for this tribute. What's also crazy is that we just listened to over two hours of Avicii's music and they were all well known songs. Actually other known songs weren't included... I was so blessed to have been there. I‘ve never been to a show of his when he was still alive, but you could feel him being there by spirit. What began with Sandro‘s beautiful rendition of Without You ended with my all-time favorite Levels and some images of him when he was happy, those moments when he actually felt alive. I saw so many people being in tears for a person they haven‘t ever met or spoken to. If anything, this shows how much he means to this world. And had he known how much impact he actually had on people‘s lives, he might not have killed himself. But still, his music will live on forever in our hearts. Even one-and-a-half years after his death, he still sells out an arena with 58,000 people, all sharing the same love and passion for his music. Same here. But my stepdad wasn’t nice to me and I was in a really bad place in my mind. But Aviciis music Made me happy. I sometimes as a 10 year old though about how I could kill myself but not suffer. So thanks for making me happy and getting better in school again and do the best in my power to make my dreams come true. I was privileged to spend thousand of hours to listening to his music before he died, all the memories I have in childhood was playing pro clubs in fifa 14 with my bros and listening to his music, the nights and waiting for love were kicking it, time back then was so much easier, I'm from Portugal and his last time on rock in Rio was there too, and I stayed awake listening to his music, it seemed like a magic show, where he was the magician. I always believed in his comeback after retirement and I was right, he came back. One month before he died, my English teacher said that we were going to do an oral presentation about our favourite artist, and I made it about Tim. When he died I felt like I lost someone really really close to me, I cried a lot. But my first instinct was to open Spotify and play his musics, I was crying and smiling at the same time. We cannot let his legacy die, Avicii is imortal, and I will love Tim till the day I die.
Even at 2024, we are still here with you Tim. We listen to your music always, and thank you for the memories, forever. Perfect thing to listen to on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and for all the years to come. ❤

I was watching old EDC videos and there's ones with Avicii, Swedish House Mafia etc playing their best songs which might not be played again at places like that then there's other artists who don't play older popular songs because they play the newer ones first.

Tim you made young people vibrate, but not only. The degree of your compositions and the depth of your words were worthy of a great master. You wanted it that way, but we miss you, we regret you, we will never forget you! Rest in Peace where the music is eternally beautiful!

The worst part is that, if you listen closely to all of his songs, it is impossible not to consider if it was his mental health struggles that made his music so deep, passionate, and hopeful. It is tragic to wonder if it is what killed him that made his music so good, and so helpful for others going through similar struggles. Sometimes there is nothing better than a good song to remind you that life is worth the struggle. Perhaps he wanted everyone to know they are not alone in that suffering.

We have many millions of viewers outside of this arena.
Thank you to all the DJs that initiated this concert and the singers that you will soon hear. They have all refrained from receiving any reward, in the memory of Tim and for the Tim Bergling foundation. A big thanks to Stefan Olsson that has created the events for the concert, Carl Falk that has been involved in the production and to the fantastic orchestra that you will hear tonight. And we can not forget all of the producers that have created the songs that you will hear together with Tim. Several of them are here tonight. And lastly a thanks to the team that is responsible for this enormous production. They have been the backbone in the production of Tim's tours and arena gigs. They have all worked hard withe the goal of making this evening a musical celebration of Tim and his music.
Wonderful! Together, you have all made this celebration possible and realised Tim's dream of having his music played live with an orchestra. Tim Bergling foundation stands as the organiser for this event that supports preventative actions against mental health disorders and suicides among youth and young adults. I think we understand eachother very well in here, actually. We started among others, a three year partnership with Mind, an organisation with the goal that people (in the time of need) will be able to call their free and anonymous helpline 24/7. We know through research that a compassionate conversation can help during hard times. We also hope that our work will make it easier and more natural to ask for help in time and to be able to talk to friends and family when problems occur instead of having to carry them all by yourself.
The fifth of December will be the official day that we take notice of the foundations work and Tim's memory. We miss Tim, but he is with us tonight through his music. A huge thanks to everyone that came here tonight, we believe it is a record also regarding the amount of attendees here tonight.

I’ll never forget senior year where “Levels” taught me that sometimes, I have a good feeling.

This released on my birthday and I first found Avicii, his song Fade into Darkness woke something in me that shook me to my core. I heavily hyperfixated on his music and music videos after I heard his song and became so obsessed with all of Tim’s music. Avicii was my favorite artist in the beginning and he’ll always be my favorite artist. All of his songs brought me out of depression and I’ll forever thank Tim for his music and the beauty he’s shared with us. I’m crying at each song played. I can’t imagine what I would be like if I had seen this live.

Man, every single vocalist knocked it out of the park, but Aloe Blacc especially was absolutely amazing. He's just so good and I'm happy he came out for this tribute. What's also crazy is that we just listened to over two hours of Avicii's music and they were all well known songs. Actually other known songs weren't included... Kind of puts things into perspective, doesn't it? Avicii is a legend. A melodic mastermind. He will forever be missed. ◢ ◤

I was so blessed to have been there. I‘ve never been to a show of his when he was still alive, but you could feel him being there by spirit. What began with Sandro‘s beautiful rendition of Without You ended with my all-time favorite Levels and some images of him when he was happy, those moments when he actually felt alive. I saw so many people being in tears for a person they haven‘t ever met or spoken to. If anything, this shows how much he means to this world. And had he known how much impact he actually had on people‘s lives, he might not have killed himself. But still, his music will live on forever in our hearts. Even one-and-a-half years after his death, he still sells out an arena with 58,000 people, all sharing the same love and passion for his music. The energy was so positive and emotional and it was a magical night I’ll never forget. Thank you for all the sounds and hymns you left us Tim, RIP Legend

I was in the audience and watched it IRL. The best concert I've ever attended! The arena was sold out 100% and the whole performance were so emotional I couldn't help crying again and again... I miss him.

I was privileged to spend thousand of hours to listening to his music before he died, all the memories I have in childhood was playing pro clubs in fifa 14 with my bros and listening to his music, the nights and waiting for love were kicking it, time back then was so much easier, I'm from Portugal and his last time on rock in Rio was there too, and I stayed awake listening to his music, it seemed like a magic show, where he was the magician. I always believed in his comeback after retirement and I was right, he came back. One month before he died, my English teacher said that we were going to do an oral presentation about our favourite artist, and I made it about Tim. When he died I felt like I lost someone really really close to me, I cried a lot. But my first instinct was to open Spotify and play his musics, I was crying and smiling at the same time. We cannot let his legacy die, Avicii is imortal, and I will love Tim till the day I die.

I was watching old EDC videos and there's ones with Avicii, Swedish House Mafia etc playing their best songs which might not be played again at places like that then there's other artists who don't play older popular songs because they play the newer ones first.
