Done! Hi guys, new to the channel here. Love the review of these IYV Guitars. Having the opportunity to win one is a really cool thing for you guys to do. Heard a lot about these guitars but have never been able to actually play one. Great content, look forward to the next video.
I just ordered my 2nd of this model earlier today when it was on sale for $94! I'm a shred-sweep style player and have been modding and rebuilding guitars entirely for 29 years. I'm also an electronics engineer by collage education so I'm used to the most complicated of work and challenges. I have machined *METAL* that was easier to mill through than sycamore! I've done rosewood, maple, mahogany and on the list grows. I'm still at a loss for words. I routed a bridge cavity because contrary to the video, you really can't get the action low enough for serious shredding and sweeping patterns otherwise, and I also build custom active circuits for every guitar I own at this point. The stock pickups are rather sloshy and harsh. Beyond that, this is phenomenal. I own about 40 guitars ATM with some I've had custom made. This is 2n'd to none not even the 8-string I had custom made in South Korea. When I routed the batter box though, it was about equivalent to what brass is like.
I like IYV a lot. I have three. A double neck (needed nut replacement). A semi hollow (needed nothing) and the solid body PRS style, the neckthru with the vine inlay, 24 frets (needed nothing and has amazing build quality).
I have 3 amongst a collection of over 40 guitars and basses. I have 2 of this model because I just bought the last one on Amazon for $94(yeah no shit!) and the PRS neck through just like yourself. I said earlier today I wouldn't hesitate for a 2nd to buy a third, did some searches to see if they have anything new out and this popped up on sale. It took me all of 30 seconds to cash in my Amazon reward points and get it in the mail lol! I've bought more guitars this year than I have in the previous 10 years combined. Ironic that I decided this year is the last year I ever buy guitar gear again because aside from luthery, I'm an electronics engineer and can design and building anything I want all the way to digital effects if I so desire.
nice thumbnail ;) very catchy ... a scatch off for 10 million ... lets me spell it "DONE" count me in ! Seriously congrats on the investment in your channel Im sure you are close to 100k with all these high end guitars (at least must kinda hold their value pretty good )

Done. Love the color! Also you guys should get another camera angle to show a close up of the body etc during these reviews. As always thanks!
Always heard good things about IYV guitars. Never heard of sycamore used for really anything, especially a guitar. Very cool
