Having Dom in your team at this level of play is like a cheatcode, man takes care of all the gameplan and most of the teams macro by himself. After so many years it's easy to forget he was a pro, until you see games like this one
its not that he was a pro, the man analyzes professional gameplay for a living. he has macro knowledge that most non-pro players dont even think about.

You have to execute these calls and plays in the game, if you suck at playing League, the knowledge wont do much if you're weighing your team down. I do agree with you though, given his line of work It makes perfect sense that he knows all these things, but if you're playing in the server, knowledge alone wont do

Doms shotcalling is honestly leagues better than just about anyone in this tournament. That analysis of multiple regions and understanding macro of multiple lanes and roles really shines in streamer/amatuer tournaments like this. You can definitely tell he gets frustrated at his team from time to time, but listening to him in a competitive setting is entertaining as hell.
For real, Doms a real one for this.

That was excelent. I'm a big fan, but wasn't expecting this level of performance.
Not only played really well, also coordinated the team masterfully. Real sign of maturity. Shotcalling was simple and clear. Called out mistakes, but was never harsh about it. Encouraged and expected good gameplay from his team, pointing out their good plays and making sure they were ready to do it again in the next teamfight.
Quite nice for casual, although competitive, game of league. I was proud.
