- Sooooo many issues with this vehicle. They always have a guy to do it cheap. Using a new camera, let me know if quality is better.
Thanks everyone
People literally come in with cars like these and be mad when we have to order parts 😂
And the car is a 2009, like we are going to have random parts for a 12 year old car. They lucky if they still make the parts lmaooo
Tell me about it, my 06 cadillac sts is a nightmare for parts. Love hate relationship
If my car was that old I would take it to you to tell me what's the least I can get away with. I like your channel, but please stop looking down on people that run their cars into the ground. We're saving the environment. (CO2 from production of new car outweighs old polluting car etc...) We can't all afford new. I like my 17 yr old car and 23yr old motorbike, they have character.
@@hollow34 Driving '04 Corolla till it falls apart. Couldn't always afford a new oil change or repairs on time and stuff like that. Still can't afford a new car, but at least the car still runs to this day. Feeling kinda called out in the video up there lmao.
My car is an 04 honda, the only problem part to find so far was the damn seat belt stalk. The few other parts have been same day delivery.

Thought he was gonna start ripping the bumpers off rattling them in disgust! I mean, duct tape?? Owner must have run out of zip ties. Door wiring job by a drunk 5 year old. Leaking turbo, hole in a beauty cover, but as he said a NEW O2 sensor!

"Good Afternoon!" haha
"Man this car has so many freaking complaints.." We can see the 4 rings of Audi in the shot, enough said.
Rather looks like someone who just never got anything fixed ever, or when they did they did it on the cheap. Get it serviced and fix problems as soon as they crop up and it's impossible for like any car to get to this state.
@@asneakychicken322 With Audi the problems crop up as soon as you sign the papers. My S4 spent more time at the dealer than a Tesla.
At the prices Audi charge for parts and service I'd be Duct-Taping stuff too. But I wouldn't be stupid enough to buy one of those in the first place
That car is a tamborine, the guy keeps hitting it until it rattles.
I'm gonna have to steal this.
Not gonna lie, best thing on youtube this year so far. Way to go =D
He only had to hit it ONCE! :)

Shaking that rear bumper and heat shield was hilarious! Keep it together man. They’re driving you crazy!!
They be neglecting their car this bad and say; man I’m never buying "insert car Brand here".
Thank you for being of the few people that are smart enough to properly position the phone/camera to get a good image. There are TOO many people that record video in the terrible vertical format.
Cheers, friend!
I love when you get into a job and someone else was there. I was greeted with a rounded loose LCA nut when I went to do my bushings. No wonder it failed at 30k miles
"Have introduce them to the ziptie modification" 😂😂😂
When I rode dirt bikes duct tape and zip ties were essential tools.
Coat hanger mod for the heat shield rattle.
thank the lord for that new O2 sensor
"Just check my tire pressure, I don't need you trying to upsell me!"

I’m from NY but live in Florida now and I don’t get to hear another northerner, I miss it! Love your work
lol I love your violent shake of the bumper, I can feel your anger haha
my moms '86 taurus developed an intermittent rattle. it would go away for several days then return randomly. I found there was a metal tag spot welded to the catalytic converter that had fallen onto the heat shield. I fished it out with a long piece of wire.
Bumper flapping in the wind 😂
Every time I hear the phrase (or phrase akin to):
"My *insert family member here* is a mechanic."
"*Insert other place of business here* can do it cheaper."
My impulse is to reply with "Then why did you bring it to me/us to begin with?"
It cost me a job or two.
You got a guy who does it cheaper? That's good, we're done here.
Then why go to a profession mechanic at all
Either because these ductape repairs aren't holding up or he /his buddy are tired of dealing with this rolling trashcan.
Alright, this channel is starting to get real good!
Audis seem to always have issues, friends have owned them too and again they’re were always in the shop.
I see way too many people buying an upmarket car, only to find they can't afford to maintain it at all. They couldn't afford a new Benz, BMW, Audi, etc., so they bought a used one - which has a number of problems with it - which is why they got it for some amount they actually COULD afford.
But they COULDN'T afford, and never counted on, the cost of maintaining the vehicle (along with the higher insurance costs), and yes, they decided to go on the "deferred maintenance" plan. So what are minor things don't get fixed until they're major things - if they get fixed at all. So they bring the car in with a dozen problems and then cherry-pick only those that are cheap to fix.
But doggone, THEY OWN A BMW, OR AUDI, OR WHATEVER so they can impress everyone around them!
These are awesome man, I love it. Keep em comin'
Also, I get to be second?! Whaaaaat?
When he started flapping the rear bumper I just had to laugh. 🤣
Tell me you spent too much on snap on tools without telling me you spent wayyyy too much on snap on tools.

Are you the Grim Reaper, collecting the souls of dead Audis?
I did alot of those cash for clunker vehicles where we had to blow the engine. Prob killed over 80 vehicles during that whole thing. Some of the cars were so nice but at that point they were government property and we had to "disable" the engine.
@@customerstateswhat what the government dont know dont hurt them its coming back soon if you trade to EV car they blow up the gas one junk it cant blame she shops tho people was told they be junked but they wanted that big discount from the government

i bet that thing sounds like a one man band driving down the road hahaha
I always find your videos entertaining and informative. Do you think you might ever show emergency repair "best practicies?" I am thinking of the zip tie method you are talking about. No doubt you see more wrong than right - but if you had to do an emergency repairs, what would you want in your trunk, and how would you do it? What are some of the most common temporary fixes you see?
Zip ties and epoxy save lives!
People never want to pay for anything, yet bring it to you to diagnose. That pissed me off so much when I was at Nissan. When I was at a private shop, I was paid hourly and actually ended up making more. But I wanted to be at a dealer because I kept getting told how much better it is and you get your own bay. I enjoyed it while it lasted. Made no money, but the people were really nice and I got along with everyone in the shop and sales.
When I started out I worked at a Firestone. They would run these stupid 12.99 oil change specials like 4 saturdays a year. We had people bring in all their family’s cars, just drive back and forth all day from the shop to their house. They would have like 7 appointments in their name. Anyway, if one of us dared recommending brakes or a tire rotation the customers would lose their minds. Just put the 5 quarts of conventional oil in my car even if it needs synthetic and even if it needs more than 5 quarts. That’s all I’m paying for. So ridiculous.
@@ryanalexander984 It's terrible and costs the technician money. When I was at Nissan, that particular dealership did free oil changes for life if you bought a car there. They eventually cut out used cars after a certain date. Almost all of them would decline any repairs. This one guys wheel was falling off because of a wheel bearing, he declined. Dude had a baby with him. I've never been more infuriated with someone till then. We didn't get paid to do inspections, though I know the Firestone in town did pay their techs for inspections. A good solid inspection takes 10-15 minutes alone. A huge waste of time.
The old camera had a strange amateur, impromptu charm to it. But this one's good too.
That back bumper flop made me lose it.
i like the one it did not do that befor you working on it . just love it.
I feel this pain all too well. Its today's episode of "I work on cars I cant afford and wish I could, but the people that can, treat them like corollas"
You try not to care. But you care 😂
Don't try and up-sell me mate, just change my oil 😅
So many times people have come into our shop with dinged up Rims. Welds upon welds, cracks, bent to heck, all because they insist on driving with 20+ in rims with 1 inch sidewalls.
I especially dislike it when people put huge wheels that stick way to far out, making the car drive like crap, killing the suspension, and then complain that the steering is stiff. But hey, it looks cool and that's what matters Amirite?
If they used salt on the roads where it was driven, the body control module is located under drivers feet. Usually gets salt water into the connector and disolves every wire going to it. Looks like someone was looking for the window issue in the wrong location by all the wire hacks.
FLAPPING AWAY IN THE WIND 😂😂
I love my mechanic. He cost a lot but from these you tube videos I’m going to pay him! And not let anyone else touch my car..
I have a ‘06 Jetta 2.0t. Same basic car, all the harnesses are bad. The new one from the deal is a little longer. But never a recall.
I need a guy like you to look at my cars and just be as honest as you are here. Got any guys in Texas?
Here's a quick fix for all those rattles and clunky noises, see that volume knob on the radio? Just turn it up and drown out all that other noise. Works a treat on my 2002 Ford Focus.
Watching these makes me feel like my car is being judged...
Only if you drive a ragged pos that isn’t being cared for.
@@Vickvineager I have a 2020 Subaru Forester sport
I drive a 2010 Ford Fusion, I’m not worried about being judged cause I take care of my car. Unlike this dude in the video.
Yeah that's definitely a "I got a guy who does it cheaper" kinda car
Imagine being pissed off at someone else for ruining materialistic things THEY paid for. Just imagine.
Exactly! I don’t get it!
Just imagine not suffering a rectal-cranial inversion. This guy sees a beautiful high-end car reduced to a ghetto alley special, and finds it upsetting. And knowing he's likely wasting his time not getting paid to write up the repair order the customer won't do.
Write up a $6000 estimate and send them on their way...lol
Audi owners are just Volkswagen owners with a fancier logo. And the same attitude towards maintenance. (I worked at a aircooled VW shop for 10 years you have my sympathies)
Just found your channel, and I've noticed you've been ripping on a lot of Audis lately. What is up with those drivers?
They buy an expensive car and can not afford to maintain it. This video is a good example with the duct tape repairs
These aren't bad cars, a bit overengineered even by german standards, but not bad.
They are considered upper middleclass to upperclass and require a bit more in terms of maintenance money to last,
don't buy them if you are a cheapskate.
There are less prestigious but equally good brands, which come cheaper in terms of upkeep.
I wonder what you'd say about my car. 98 Accord with 300K+ miles, no paint & a huge dent in the rear bumper & quarter panel from being rear ended. I haven't been able to find a decent seat to replace the drivers seat, so I put the passenger seat in its place so now its missing a seat. Otherwise I keep everything else in perfect shape. Fluid leaks are always immediately corrected & absolutely no zip ties or duct tape. I need to learn body work next!
THIS GUY IS HILARIOUS, SAY NO MORE 😀
zip ties work so much better than duct tape and people are still not understanding it lol
That heat shield 😱
I love this mentality, buys expensive car to look cool, can't afford the service. In my country there is a saying: If you wan't an ape, you ought to afford bananas.
Looks like he knows a guy
I couldn’t imagine being a customer of yours and realizing how bad my car really is from your end 😂😂
When I first got my truck it had a water leak from the 3rd brake light and it needed a new headliner and ABS sensor, as well as 2 bushings. Now it's great and Worth more. This car is marmalised.
Some people just don't know one end of a wrench from the other. I was attempting to help a co-worker swap a radiator in a '98 Avalon. The car had 200k miles on it and was well-taken care of, so I thought the guy could at least use a toolset. So, I pointed at the bolts to remove first, said, "Here, take these bolts out while I drain the coolant."
After a couple minutes, he said the first bolt wasn't coming out, it was stripped or something. I stood up and looked, this guy was putting the socket on the bolt, spinning the ratchet to make it click, removing the socket, turning the ratchet, putting it back on the bolt, and spinning the ratchet again. I stood and watched him for a minute in disbelief. I wish I had recorded it.
I love the duct tape mod
The perfect cirsle flashlight
In my experience, the high dollar cars are always in the worst shape & the owners complain the most about the cost of the repairs. The average Joe with the common cars always reply with, I need the car, so fix it, when confronted with the estimate
Good morning from Germany
Must be that legendary german engineering they keep talking about.
My 1999 Ranger has fewer parts flapping in the breeze, and the entire cargo box is held together with rust and wishful thinking.
Try some duct tape, bailing wire, chewing gum, or Krazy Glue for those odd loose bits. Better yet, paint the whole thing with rust converting paint. :)
That's called structural rust.
Thank god for that new o2 sensor
I have some experience with the loom being cut between the door and body, turns out car thieves were trying to jump the central locking by using a thin wire cutter in the panel gap to snip these wires. Often the paint is chipped on the edges of the door and front fender panel from the wiggling wire cutter.
That gave me high anxiety!
The problem is that these cars are very expensive to maintain, but can be bought very cheaply once they're 8-10 years old. I'd rather buy a much more basic car that's just 2-3 years old for the same price, it's likely to last a lot longer and be easier to maintain properly.
*car is destroyed*
“but don’t worry i got a new o2 sensor”
😂
*She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.*
Every audi customer that doesn’t want to pay $350 for a plastic tube

My best friends wife is German and her German car advice is "If you cant afford to buy it new dont buy it, because you wont be able to afford to service/fix it"
How the German car is still even running in this condition is beyond me jesus christ. 😂
... and now you know why lawnmower / equipment shops quite often charge a flat fee to "have a look" before doing any work. You spend 30 minutes flap-jawing with the customer telling them how you are not ripping them off, then they want the diagnosis for free..... and you got nothing for an hour's spin time.
Lol I'm glad I ain't the only one that sees shit like this on a daily basis
bro these are great.
do the customers usually get this shit repaired after you bring it up to them?
by the state these get to, im guessing not.
Nope, very rarely if I write up a vehicle everything will sell. Cars like these customers pick and chose.
Its pretty incredible these people can get their cars to the shop in the first place
the o2 sensor killed me
How could anyone mistreat a car so much? It's also a really expensive car because Audi. I have a Nissan Versa Note that my parents bought used for me and the thing was either never mistreated or it was repaired very well. It's a cheaper car.
Lol the cheap mods people keep coming up with. Atleast zip ties are a bit classier then tape!
Wait until the Gorilla Tape shows up soon.
Always got that guy with a good price... 😂
Could it be the same guy?
"I've got a guy that does it CheapAH.
I wish rattles were always that easy to find. I get so many complaints about rattles and vibrations that I NEVER hear or feel. Salesmen are the worst at coming up with phantom rattles/vibrations, but only AFTER they sell the car. When it's in the inventory, there's nothing wrong with it, then as soon as it's sold, the damn thing's falling apart. I call into tech support and they tell me, "use the picoscope, try the chassis ears"... fuck that, I'll just show the customer this video and tell them to quit bitching!
You would think that if they could afford a car like this they could afford to maintain it! Beautiful piece of engineering that's just being abused :(
Its a 2009 probably on its 3rd or 4th owner. People that can afford new luxury cars like this replace them after 3 - 4 years before the nightmares start.
If they still have more duct-tape, put it on the muffler heat shield = fixed!
I think duct tape is an approved repair method by some car companies. 😀
Wow if they never invented duct tape I’d guess super glue was the next best option. Who needs proper mounting anyways? Gotta love it.
Lots of bungee cords or metal clothes hangers
