the key to overcoming nostalgia is realizing that those times can still be recreated - the sun still rises every day, the moon still comes up, it still rains and it still snows. Even if it's not the exact same moment, different people, different things, different places, you can still make memories if you're willing to accept that the ones you have already happened and that's enough. Stop degrading your moments by comparing them to others.

I had to say goodbye to a family member. I think, he is at peace now. And I do believe that we will see each other again. This comment is not about religion. I love this. I'll always cherish the memories I have had with my best friend. I've known her since we were both 10-11 years old, we were always a team, and had each others no matter what happened.
Sadly, we were always on bad terms recently and our friendship came to end, the bond was too broken to be fixed, the roots were too corrupted for the plant to grow once more. This hit me after I realized the countless times we would go back together after arguing. It was hopeless, because it was a cycle, and unhealthy for our mental health. It kept going on for months. Months of hurting the other.
It was and still is hard letting her go and moving on, yet if I didn't care, I wouldn't of had to let go of her. Despite how toxic the relationship was, now.. I'd only focus on the good memories we had, when our bond was strong and powerful. Look back at the memories we created together... and cherish them forever.

I had a dream where I died and when to a place that had forest around me but there was a giant circle of land and it was cold but warm tall grass deer and hawk flying above me my best friend a river and mountains around it it was beautiful and now I hope when I die I will go to that place and do as I want but there was one wired thing about it a deer said I failed I don’t know what I failed but I want to go to that place and be with my best friend in the dream I felt free for the first time in my life I miss that feeling and the flowers on the ground they where yellow pink and blue that dream felt so real I was so happy I wish I could go back. Maybe in my next life.
