I wanted this to work so badly but it was so one sided. I tried not to see it, I didn’t want to see it.

Lesson learned the hard way I just hope the next person knows how they are going to have to tell me what their intentions are when we get to know eachother and I’m not talking the bed before I open up to anybody they better be emotionally together with absolutely no DRAMA if their looking for a therapist to dump on not my sink and not my dishes period !
Spot on! Was in a two year rollercoaster of a relationship with whom I thought was my person. When I say I loved him….I truly loved him. No matter how he treated me I stood by him because I saw such potential….oh the potential I saw and I thought if I just stuck in there long enough he would see the potential eventually too and start opening up and showing me the same emotional depth. Instead he hurt me over and over though claiming he loved me. Eventually left me for someone else. A year later he comes back and we start reconnecting. I stupidly give him my heart again because you guessed it….I saw the potential. He breadcrumbed me and was so in and out….still talking to and seeing his ex (the woman he left me for). He ended up leaving me again for her. Just left me on my doorstep crying after pouring my heart out to him. That was over a month ago. I haven’t spoken to him since. Just trying to heal now and put back the pieces of my heart.

Yeah it was something I had to face, try one last time, but no, didn't work quite as I'd hoped , but as I had actually suspected, so wasn't too hurt. We had a nice time, but no emotional openness really occurred . It remained all a bit surface, and that told me all I needed to know. Pentacles are doing well at least, and a trip abroad is coming, so life is pretty good. Thankyou Christina, for the therapy session ! It really helps clarify things. 🧡

Interesting. I felt that I had drifted away from him a couple of months ago, last time I saw him. He's not in a good place, but I am relieved that he is keeping in touch with some friends. Something is underway with him and I decided that he can come to me in the future, if and when he wants to. I have moved on, but I would always help him if he needed it and be his friend.
