Yes you can cure the plague, Fooster. With simple antibiotics believe it or not. I'm not being sarcastic, my mom's a nurse and my dad's a doctor. I grew up around this stuff and that was a question I asked a long time ago when I was like in 7th grade when I was learning about the middle ages. Its not stupid to be ignorant of something you don't know, its stupid to never ask and only assume. You did it right ;)
It's a valid question for folks to ask, most people simply don't know. I'm a homesteader and get asked all the time 'do chickens have to 'do it' every time to lay an egg?' Or like leprosy, we can all but cure all forms of it now (some we can't, but slow it's progress to a near stand-still) but a lot of that medical advancement is fairly new. It's good people still ask, though. I'd rather they ask questions instead of just assuming off 3rd hand sources and the like.
"The Plague" is just a romaticized word to make people scared. It was deadly centuries ago, but these days it's cureable due to technological advancement. People who are gullible and believe mainstream media and celebrities are often not the smartest people because they lack common sense and critical thinking.
I used to volunteer in a zoo, and this brought back memories with the measuring food portions and vaccinations. Only we didn't have this tech and the animals didn't mutate into monsters. So Zoochosis is actually a repetitive behaviour that animals can adapt when living in captivity. Its like they develop anxiety and adapt bad or abnormal habbits like over grooming themselves. This is a cool game tho, thanks for playing, Fooster.
“I sure hate processed food...better steal 10kg of meat that was unfit for human consumption even before it was stuffed with veterinary pharmaceuticals!”
the real horror of this game is that we all agree that the pay is reall good for sucking up shit and killing infected mutations LOL (oh and a bit of murder too, I guess)
FINALLY! I've been waiting for this game to come out all year! People were starting to claim it was a scam and that it was never meant to be a game at all. That it was just a trailer someone made. So happy its a real game!
the game released for me just as you posted this video spoilers for others, but help for Fooster the Mutant Moose can make its eyes glow purple, and lure normal Moose to itself, but also sort of jumpscare Paul himself if he sees the glow also for mutant animals, if they're sick...make the mutant cure for said illness and fire it first, if it does nothing...then you can fire the actual illness cure
I have a question do you have to kill the animals who mutated? Or can you feed them the human meat to calm them down or does that not work? I don't want to read your spoilers. But I really want to know
@@WhitneyDahlin I don't know exactly, I think adding meat to the food can calm down a mutant animal once it mutates my knowledge so far is just from watching other players as I haven't gotten the game myself, but a surprising amount of the famous video game players always seem to not read stuff in-game
@@xxmension04xx47yeah I do get annoyed when certain gamer UA-camrs don't search everything nor read all the stuff in a game, and I understand they're just trying to play it, and beat it, as fast as they can so they can post their video. maybe saving all the animals even the infected ones either by cures or feeding them offers different endings or trying to find all the clues like with lockers
You know, the very first creepy hint that game give us is the fact that in the cold room you have prepared gigant meat blocks for the zoo animals that are bissacly all herbivores amd fish eating penguins. Not a single animal that would requier this kind of meat diet is pressent at this zoo.
My red flags were the amount of money he was making, the meat, the fact the guy was well aware of his past, the fact the dude wasn’t allowed to have his phone, and that he injected him with who knows what. Then the lady CJ’s wife who had said there was a lab, and CJ’s PDA expressing the existence of a lab despite the guy saying there was no lab.
Actually, a giraffe is more likely to destroy you with a swinging headbutt. I've seen them take out humans that way. Fooster getting all the giraffes names wrong.😂
I have to say I'm a little disappointed by the direction of the game. The game is hurrying you through the intro, and then a mutation happens every single time, like clockwork, even if you get the right medicine, perfectly cut meals, etc.. It feels like the developers wanted to rush to showing off the cool mutations instead of having a great story driven game. This could've been a horror game for the ages with subtle hints at the mutations, and then when you really mess up, then they happen. There are so many recipes for medicine, but in the end, whats the point if they mutate anyway?(apart from fixing the alive animals after killing the mutated ones). You even kill the mutated ones the same way every time. The game feels like it could use more time in the oven to fully realize its vision. Unless this is all the devs wanted, ofc.
Exactly. I expected that over time the deviations in the food processing would start causing some slow mutations visible or invisible that would eventually be noticed by us early or as they suddenly morph due to high deviations leading to the 'Mutation' gameplay in the game. Instead its like... 'Oh an infection' ... 'wait let me get my trea...' ... 'Oh they mutated' ... Sort of reminds me of the werewolves in 'The quarry'. Exploding people into wolfies rofl
Well I'd by lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with this game. I thought it was gunna be so much more. However I enjoyed the video as always, thanks for always putting out good content. Hope you plan on doing a mgs delta playthrough when it finally comes out!
"I'm panicking thinking there's ten different things." There is, Fooster. The name of the mutation at the top of the screen tells you what to make to cure the infection. You don't have to kill each mutant. Use meat to pacify them while you make a cure.
Regarding the endings, I wonder if placating the mutants would bring about a different ending. The game seemed to hint that the mutants want to eat the meat so instead of making lethal injections I wonder if you could make them some food?
For the most part I absolutely love your energy and how thorough you are, for some reason though you not taking blood from all the gorillas in one trip made me SO UNREASONABLY MAD XD
I just want to thank you Fooster for spending so much time trying to get all the animals and endings. I've watched other playthroughs and everyone gives up after the first ending. ❤
So excited they let you have early access!! I'd definitely like for you to play more and figure out the other endings if you're interested! There are still too many unanswered questions 🤣 and thank you for repeating tedious tasks for 9 hours so we could have content!
Cool hidden things: 1) BABAR was a kids cartoon about an elephant in the 90s 2) *The names on the locker are names of horror directors* … JAMES WAN/RIDLEY SCOTT/DAVID CRONENBERG/JOHN CARPENTER/WES CRAVEN 😊 Wasn’t even noticing until the elephant… so there’s likely a bunch I missed earlier!!!!
@@SyenthrosThere is zero showcasing of any transformation, the mutants are horribly animated and the animals have zero reaction when a mutant is there.
I guess there's a different endings when a) saving all animals (turning them back with their special food instead of killing) b) killing all animals (turned or not) c) getting all animals turned (if that's even possible)
❓ Can you feed the mutated animals the meat instead of hurting them to calm them down and prevent them from turning is that what you mean by saving them with the special food? Can you inject them with a sedative and vacuum the virus out of them with the little vacuum thing once they are asleep? I'm guessing you can make the cure and save all of the animals since that's an ending. Can you get the medicine out of CJ's locker to cure yourself? If that isn't what's in the lockers can you cure yourself with the same animal food? If you do cure yourself can you then end the zookeeper who hired you and feed him to the mother? Why did rooster end the animals every time instead of trying to save them or save himself? 😂
@@WhitneyDahlin I've seen Syntac feeding meat to a mutated penguin and it turned back. That's where I got the idea of 'saving' them via the food. Haven't noticed that there's an actual cure. xD The special recipe I'm talking about is in a separate tab when preparing food. I'd that's why there's a scientific name on the top of the screen when they turn, so you know what food exactly you have to make. That might be one way to save them all apart from the actual cure. Apparently there's 14! endings, so there's a lot of combination of things to try.
2:40 the designer made a mistake in the ductwork setup, common to see in games. The vent for the stove is supposed to be an independent system that sucks air/steam/smoke directly outside powered by a motorized electric fan. But the mistake made here was the designer ran the duct/plenum up and connected it to the heating ducts(it's a heating duct and not a return duct because return ducts are set near the ground in order to suck cool air and not hot air). Heating ducts push and do not pull, so what would happen here is the heating system would kick on and push air onto the stove spreading air/steam/smoke everywhere inside the room if the stove was being used at the time. I was just saying to myself that this looks like a really well done game when I spotted this. Anyone who plays this game should point this out to the dev so they don't make the same mistake in the future.

I love your fun and light-hearted approach, how you manage to ease tense moments in the game, and at the same time, you keep things intriguing, making me want to watch your videos until the very end! Kudos to you!
I’ve been watching Fooster’s videos almost non stop while I’ve been sick, and this is probably one of my favorites! Also, I completely agree with him about how big animals are in real life. When I went to the Washington DC zoo with my family when I was 14, I saw a tiger for the first time in the flesh, and I was in awe by just how big they really are!
Thank you Fooster for always being there for us! You helped me greatly through difficult times in my life and watching you helped greatly and was and is very relaxing and fun!!
Please also look plenty after yourself and I wish you an amazing week!
Thank you again so much! :)
Yep. You can contract the plague from fleas if I remember correctly.
The less serious forms of the plague, if treated early (first hours or days) have an 85-90% survival rate.
"The Plague" is just a romaticized word to make people scared. It was deadly centuries ago, but these days it's cureable due to technological advancement. People who are gullible and believe mainstream media and celebrities are often not the smartest people because they lack common sense and critical thinking.
@@Razzy-sr4oq absolutely! Better to ask than make an ass out of you and me, LOL.
Always great to watch another horror from Fooster! I can tell this will be a fun one to watch
“I sure hate processed food...better steal 10kg of meat that was unfit for human consumption even before it was stuffed with veterinary pharmaceuticals!”

unprocessed food is better than shit proccesed one, without a question
I've been looking forward to this game on my radar. So good to see you picking it up and playing it. Viva La Fooster!
That's what $50 bucks an hour fuck, is that before or after taxes and over time??
Don't care I'll come back tomorrow with a smile on my face every day
Amen! Me too.

the real horror of this game is that we all agree that the pay is reall good for sucking up shit and killing infected mutations LOL (oh and a bit of murder too, I guess)

When fooster said “ see it’s the confidence, fuck I just made elephant food!” Killed me! 💀😭
Welcome, to Giraffe-sick Park!
…I’ll see myself out. 😆

FINALLY! I've been waiting for this game to come out all year! People were starting to claim it was a scam and that it was never meant to be a game at all. That it was just a trailer someone made. So happy its a real game!
the game released for me just as you posted this video
spoilers for others, but help for Fooster
the Mutant Moose can make its eyes glow purple, and lure normal Moose to itself, but also sort of jumpscare Paul himself if he sees the glow
also for mutant animals, if they're sick...make the mutant cure for said illness and fire it first, if it does nothing...then you can fire the actual illness cure
I have a question do you have to kill the animals who mutated? Or can you feed them the human meat to calm them down or does that not work? I don't want to read your spoilers. But I really want to know
@@WhitneyDahlin I don't know exactly, I think adding meat to the food can calm down a mutant animal once it mutates
my knowledge so far is just from watching other players as I haven't gotten the game myself, but a surprising amount of the famous video game players always seem to not read stuff in-game
@@xxmension04xx47yeah I do get annoyed when certain gamer UA-camrs don't search everything nor read all the stuff in a game, and I understand they're just trying to play it, and beat it, as fast as they can so they can post their video. But me personally, I love searching every nook and cranny in every game I play and reading everything that I can. Cuz the more ya read, more ya know... the more it'll help you in the game.
Nope they all gotta go, no cure
@@ItsFreakinHarding.I take it because you are in my comments section you are talking about me so I’ll reply. It was more of a first look video seen as though it has just released I am always in 2 minds about doing everything in a game before people get their hands on it. Believe me I could easily take hours on a game like this but I highly doubt people would find it interesting. I promise you I don’t mind criticism if it helps me improve but when it’s disguised like this it’s just in bad taste.
After being without power for 6 days, here in VA, I'm so glad this is the first video I got to watch. I needed that. Thank you Fooster.
maybe saving all the animals even the infected ones either by cures or feeding them offers different endings or trying to find all the clues like with lockers
Fun Fact: 0:50 Metzger is also a known profession in german, which does means butcher :D
omg Oliver was the Bay Harbour Metzger all along😰

I have been super excited to watch you play this since the trailer dropped. Thanks Fooster.

Plague is curable by antibiotics. Reason why antibiotics was such an incredible discovery.
I actually never knew that you could cure the plague LMAO
@@thefoosterchannel There's even a vaccine nowadays
Been following the developer's videos for this for some time. SO excited to see it come out and get some recognition! It is right up your alley
YESSS! Just what I needed on this Monday! Thanks Fooster!!
"Beau" is pronounced "Bo".
Think of Po from Kung Fu Panda but it starts with a B.
"-eau" is French and just gives an "OH" sound.
Ik people who’s name is pronounced “beu”it’s country shit. Than again also Met some Bo’s too
And it means nice, beautiful.
The devs promised and they definitely delivered, great to finally see a game that actually sticks to the trailers. Thanks for the gameplay Fooster ❤
The necks flailing from the giraffes is them fighting/ playing
One of the few channels where I genuinely enjoy the commentary. Thanks for the great entertainment!!
6:27 - "...I won' repeat it twice." Ah, so he will repeat it at least once then? 😅
Hey fooster I want to tell you that you are literal youtube peak, very down to earth, I love your vids and you ofc
Well I'd by lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with this game. I thought it was gunna be so much more. However I enjoyed the video as always, thanks for always putting out good content. Hope you plan on doing a mgs delta playthrough when it finally comes out!
Damn Fooster I am beyond excited to watch this video!! From the first video I saw some time ago, I was intrigued to say the least.
Fisk failed successfully at giving the wife the meat
Yes! I've been waiting for this to drop! Thank you, Fooster ❤
"I'm panicking thinking there's ten different things." There is, Fooster. The name of the mutation at the top of the screen tells you what to make to cure the infection. You don't have to kill each mutant. Use meat to pacify them while you make a cure.
My favorite channel with my favorite genre. Finally its bedtime, gotta watch this at night!
Regarding the endings, I wonder if placating the mutants would bring about a different ending. The game seemed to hint that the mutants want to eat the meat so instead of making lethal injections I wonder if you could make them some food?
didnt he try that with the gorilla?
and save the women thats hanging to be grinded. Fooster has the memory and awareness of a gold fish so he never gets good endings for a reason lol.
The recipes in CJ locker cures mutants. Using them gets you access to other endings. Also saving the woman from the grinder.
@@lAmCanad1anthat's that commie brainwashing Britain has been going through in play.
@@zielona_f yeah, but the food was bad and the mutant refused to eat it or got stuck in the ceiling or whatever

OMG Fooster playing Zoochosis I've been waiting for this for so long, thank you Fooster!!

Cool hidden things:
1) BABAR was a kids cartoon about an elephant in the 90s
2) *The names on the locker are names of horror directors* … JAMES WAN/RIDLEY SCOTT/DAVID CRONENBERG/JOHN CARPENTER/WES CRAVEN 😊
Wasn’t even noticing until the elephant… so there’s likely a bunch I missed earlier!!!!
So happy Fooster also has a video on this game! Here to watch the ending Fisk did not get.
I’ve waited so long for this it’s finally out!!!!!! Now do I watch now or wait till it’s night!!!!!
You stopping to tell him you were ‘so excited’ lol beautiful. Love it. xxx
For whatever the game is worth, it is absolutely NOTHING like the trailer advertised it.
Is it not? It looks pretty similar to all the trailers I've seen.
@@SyenthrosThere is zero showcasing of any transformation, the mutants are horribly animated and the animals have zero reaction when a mutant is there.
This game looks soo good! The atmosphere is perfectly dark and gritty and dirty. I can’t wait to see more of this game and more from these developers!

It's here!! Let's go!
I'm so glad and KNEW this would be a video as soon as I heard it was launching soon!
I guess there's a different endings when
a) saving all animals (turning them back with their special food instead of killing)
b) killing all animals (turned or not)
c) getting all animals turned (if that's even possible)
Haven't noticed that there's an actual cure. xD
The special recipe I'm talking about is in a separate tab when preparing food.
I'd that's why there's a scientific name on the top of the screen when they turn, so you know what food exactly you have to make.
That might be one way to save them all apart from the actual cure.
Apparently there's 14! endings, so there's a lot of combination of things to try.
@@WhitneyDahlinin hindsight Fooster didn't know until after the video
@@ZoMTDU ...the game literally told him though
When school over you will indeed catch me watching this!!!
Thank you so much @Fooster you help a lot of people from recovering to their battles everyday your videos make a huge change to our hearts we love you so much dont ever change mwah!
It shouldn't be incumbent upon youtube creators to help with peoples problems. It's a bit unfair to put that kind of pressure on them. Shouldn't it be enough to simply be entertained?
