  • Commercial real estate like you’ve never heard it before! On today’s episode, Brandon and David sit down with Ken Wimberly, the owner of a Keller Williams commercial brokerage and a commercial investor himself.
Ken shares some incredible tips on how to get into owning commercial property, including how to find quality tenants, how to structure the lease, and how to protect yourself from a changing market. He also provides great advice on building relationships and identifying who NOT to partner with.
Ken goes on to talk about how he went from working in a pizza restaurant to cashing his first check for 50K as a broker-with absolutely no training program! He shares some incredible advice for opening a laundromat, making huge returns, and successfully investing in other people’s deals, too.
If you’ve ever been interested in how to do big deals without big headaches, this episode is for you!

Great episode from a wonderful guy in Ken. Honored to call him a friend and peer in the Laundromat Industry. 🙌
Laundromats are the best business in America imo. Do your research and see if it's a good fit for you. A lot of opportunities out there in the world! 🌍

Wow! Just listened to a bit of this and really excited to do through the rest later today. I am starting with 8 units (maybe 4 more later this month) but commercial would be so nice to get into.

Yes pick an asset class. I got into residential years ago because I needed a place to live and a friend of mine got info industrial because he needed a place to run his business. I understand residential a lot easier than I understand industrial and until that changes, I will continue to buy residential. There are pros and cons to each.

I definitely enjoyed listening to this episode as a growing agent in KW who is shifting in the commercial space, listening to him is quite inspiring.
The goal is to be a commercial investor while serving on the brokerage side.

Residential real estate is the most overrated investment type to get into IMO. I don’t think the risk reward is worth it. For commercial real estate there is a higher ceiling if you do it right
