Hey, Hannah, nice short video. Do you mind sharing what waterfall this was. I’m in the PNW (Bend, OR actually) and is an abundance of waterfalls here. I have been a long time Peak Design Capture Clip use. I was one of the early adopters with version 1. Love it. I like their tripod unless I need something taller or more sturdy. (I often have my tripod legs in a moving stream.) But it is certain light and innovative (as all Peak Design products are). I’m not a fan of their backpacks but backpacks are a very personal thing. Even more so than tripods! I use the same camera as you have have the same lens. I love the a7r5! What I don’t have is that Smallrig mount you have. I will need to check that out. I use L-brackets but it looks like Smallrig has something that might be more convenient. Thanks for sharing. I think I will follow your channel for a while!
Thanks for watching!! This is Twin Falls in North Bend, Washington! And I highlyyyy recommend checking out the mount. It is sooo handy and wildly easy to switch between horizontal and vertical with. Feels a bit more versatile than a traditional L bracket.
The peak design clip is excellent and very grippy. Expensive but worth it. Also the PD mounting plate adaptiveness is good as it works with arca swiss and you can buy/3d print mounts to pretty much any device. Nice pictures!
Never thought of the 3D printing but that's genius! Definitely an expensive piece of gear for it's size but so necessary for me. I also love the adaptiveness of the clip in the sense that it fits on almost every single one of my backpack straps. Thanks for watching :)
I got them on Amazon! They’re FRDM Vigor. They’re pretty warm but can also be used to layer with another glove or mit. They also work pretty well with my touch screen surprisingly.
The pouch it’s in is pretty snug so it doesn’t fall out. I go back and forth when I hike carrying it in the sleeve it came with and without it just because it adds a little weight. But when I travel or am in a super busy place, it’s in the sleeve always and I just attach the sleeve to a strap on the pack with a carabiner.
Hello, How are you? I was analyzing your UA-cam channel. Your content quality is very good. But I noticed some problems in your channel. that's why you are not getting more views. Can we talk about this in detail?
The Peak Design setup (especially the capture clip) is top notch. Couldn't agree with you more!
I just can’t imagine using anything else at this point haha
Great video 🤘🇨🇦
Great gear tips. That area looks so cool to shoot in!
It’s so so beautiful out in Washington 🥹
Thanks Hannah, it was a great video! I am also a peak girl. I have the same gear except for a rotating collar from the science corner. thanks again!
Thanks Hannah, what a great inspiration to use this Clip!!!! And a nice video to watch as well.
Happy you found it helpful! 🫶🏼
I recently got a carbon fiber tripod and it's a game changer! Just found your channel, hope it takes off :)

I too use the L brackets and sat here amazed at that mount! Checking that out. Thank you so much for a great video. New subscriber 😊
I might have to get that tripod!
Can’t recommend it enough!

How does the peak design clip work with a heavier lens (like your 100-400mm)?
It holds the weight of my 100-400 no problem! I think its max payload is around 200lbs.
I’ve been needing to get a clip, that seems so useful to not have my camera stored away or bouncing around my neck haha. Great video! 😊
I cannot recommend it enough! 4+ years and still have the same clip and plate I started with! Thanks for watching :)
I’ve just come across channel, great video, really enjoyed it. I’ll catch up on your other content. Just subscribed 👌🤙
Heyyyyy! Thanks for being here 😊

What gloves are you wearing? Semi gear related question? lol

How does your tripod not fall out of your bag? If mine isn't strapped in it falls out.
The pouch it’s in is pretty snug so it doesn’t fall out. I go back and forth when I hike carrying it in the sleeve it came with and without it just because it adds a little weight. Too contrasty I can't see you demo the Vertical rotation clearly. Viewing on a 800nit Samsung Fold 4
Yeah sorry about that! The all black in a very dimly lit forest was tough, tried to show it multiple times to ease that.
