I have a question, why can't I enter the game after the update? there is an ERROR why?
I really need to know more about Ascension Passes before I spend any money. Things such as what exactly should be expected to be found in them? If we could get just a sample of one ascension pass for one god that would be great, not asking for finished art or anything just a general idea of what to expect. How much are they going to cost individually? Is it going to be worth it price wise for me as a consumer to buy them in bulk now or is the price negligable? Do we know which gods will be included in the first 11-23? Will we be able to use legacy gems to help towards the cost of Ascension Passes or not? These are things that really need to be known up front before anyone should be expected to spend money. I'd love to spend money on this game because I think there is a good chance of it being great! But I need more information before I can feel comfortable coughing up another $30-$70.

Hey I'm desperate I can't find a straight forward answer from anyone anywhere. My main account that has 1000+ hours and many more dollars worth of gems bought is on ps4. I know you can't have cross progression on smite 1 with ps4 and pc. But for smite 2 will there be? Or a better question if I buy the founders edition on my ps5 for the 2x legacy will I be able to use those on my pc. It says there's cross progression on smite 2 but it also says that for smite 1 until you dig deeper. I'm a huge fan and really hope you can get to the bottom of this playstaion debacle that many of us are facing. Ps putting in support tickets won't get an answer either I've tried many times with different ways of asking.
I don't think that smite 2 will have cross progression between PS and PC because that's not a Hi Rez issue. Sony always complicate cross progression for every game :/ that's a Sony issue so I believe no cross progression

Unrelated but I hope god voice packs are all free. It helps a lot to differentiate whose making calls without having to look at the chat. Maybe make the base voice pack free, but have all the skin voice packs bundled and unlockable like in smite 1? just an idea

I was considering buying ultimate edition but the ascension passes that are supposed to be the biggest feature are not explained, only mentioned vaguely, and I don't feel like it's worth it to spend that much money to get cat in a bag - extra emote, avatar and voice pack... underwhelming

The cheapest Founder Pass is basically the equivalent to the "God Pack" they had that unlocks all gods. Which is basically worth it for 30$. The more expensive ones are up to you if you think it's worth it.

Smite is my favorite MOBA, but once they got rid of the Asian servers, it became impossible to play.

Se a Hihez realmente se importasse com a comunidade ela teria lancado o jogo somente quando todos os deuses antigos e suas respectivas skins estivessem prontos e disponiveis para quem comprou no passado
não é "mesmo que digam". ele foi feito do zero em um novo motor de jogo 11 anos depois. tanto que se quiser esperar que todos os deuses estejam lá terá de esperar mais uns anos pelo lançamento. as interacções são as mesmas mas têm de ser todas refeitas do zero num novo motor de jogo, programadas do zero numa nova linguagem (entende?) isso dá trabalho. sem falar nas skins, texturas. Unreal 5 permite coisas que o motor de jogo antigo não permitia de todo em termos de fisica de particulas, de som, de imagem. é um jogo novo e smite 1 irá continuar a correr em paralelo. em julho sairá versao gratuita de smite 2. quem pagou items em smite 1 recebe gemas em smite 2 como bonus por todas as gemas gastas em smite 1. estão a ser bem generosos quando nem tinham de ser. caso nao entenda ninguem é dono de items bens digitais que compra em jogos. se um dia fecharem smite 1 o dinheiro vai pelo cano abaixo, o facto de darem gemas em smite 2 pelas gemas usadas em smite 1 é de loucos. fique feliz e se nao quiser pagar pagar jogar a alpha espere por julho e jogue grátis.

New engine new item/scaling system, more freedom for god designs/graphics and hopefully less bugs
the difference between it being made ground up in unreal 5 engine and not a game engine from 11 years ago is ALL THE DIFFERENCE. like even in pre-alpha videos you can already see how it looks and sounds much better.

Maybe we get "all the gems" in smite 2 but what if new skins are getting more expensive? All in all it´s very bad communicated what you actually get in smite 2. I get the argument that they had to build it up from scratch because of ue5 but noone asked for smite 2

There is no chance. To my understanding the switch can barely run smite, ue5 would murder that platform. At the very least they are keeping smite up for the foreseeable future so you can hold off a while before transitioning
Releasing SMITE 2 on the Switch would mean uploading the game on a fairly old console. The same thing is happening with the PS4, so no way, you still have time to at least a PC, no hurry.

The game is giving you legacy gems for everything that you ever purchased in smite 1. Smite 2 is being built from the ground up so it won’t have all the characters/skins on release.

@@spauyYea this. We aren’t gonna have all the characters for a couple of years. iirc they said a new character every 2 weeks on full release. Which means we will probably get like 24 or 25 characters per year. Building the game from the ground up bc smite 1 engine is so old seems crazy.
