This challenge is based on the 1981 movie Cannonball Run. There was a scene in the movie where the Countach passes a cop after the girls who were driving vandalized the speed limit sign :P
Gauntlets are basically time trials where you're getting chased by the cops. You'll need to survive AND get a good time. They usually give you some weapons to work with but not always. However, they always need to be done with a specific car. This one must be done with a Lambroghini Countach QV 5000
I quite enjoy this game myself, but there is just one thing that I must question. WHY, of all people, is the cop in the opening cutscene on the LEFT SIDE OF THE DAMN ROAD?!

I like how considerate the police is that they're trying to intercept a Countach, so they deploy a similar car instead of a hyper car like a Bugatti or a Koenigsegg. Real kind of them

Awesome, they even referenced the cop cars. They were blue Pontiac Firebirds on the movie, so they gave us the blue Mustangs instead.

Gaunlet is almost the same as a time trial, with the difference the SCPD is present in the Gauntlet events unlike the time trials.
