What I love most about the sequence on the ship is that it feels like Old One Piece when they were all living life on the ship. It really makes u remember how close knit the crew is.

Exactly why I loved this episode so much, feels a lot like the original Grand Line episodes. The Straw Hats dicking around together and facing off against the mighty and mad sea. It was sorely missed in the New World arcs.

I felt the same. Especially that I'm now rewatching entire series with my gf. Damn, she has no idea what's coming and I envy her.
I hope they add some scenes of characters taking. If the pacing has to be slowed down, I'd rather it be filled in with fun scenes. There's a perfect moment to do some character focused filler later on in the arc.

@Interlink. What they meant was that Shusui (Ryuma's Sword) was already a permanent black blade, meaning there was no more "growth" that blade could go through, while Enma could still be turned black.
They're both relics from the Wano Country but Enma's time on the battlefield isn't over yet. Sadly Shusui might never be put to rest alongside it's original master.

@@eduardo7677that’s not what they meant, obviously. But you are right about Shusui not having room for growth. I knew Zoro was going to replace Shusui as soon as that was revealed back in Dressrosa. My boy Zoro needs to have all his swords blackened by his own haki.

I love how characters are showing a bit of their different strengths in Haki without it explicitly being said.
-Sanji being able to hear and see Bonney when no one else could.
-Zoros precision strike.
-Usopp reacting to the creature before anyone else.

@@dannod9961 It’s been observation Haki the majority of the time. A lot of people overlook it, and write it off as a gag when he’s able to detect women in danger, but that’s literally his Haki at work-his observation has always been more sensitive towards women. When you can hear Bonney cry and gurgle in the water, that’s from Sanjis pov, which is why Nami comments that she couldn’t hear anything. It’s been like that for hundreds of episodes but some people just think it’s a joke. I was recently watching a scene from Punk Hazard for example, and at one point, Nami was terrified. Sanji was able to detect that, and said something like, “I can feel Namis heart-maybe she wants to express her love to me”. It’s meant to be funny, but it also shows his use of Haki.
Sanji is being a perv and ussop being a coward. That’s all.

It reminds me of after Dragon Ball Super when Toei animation moved went from having extremely flashy modern look during the biggest battle royale of the series (ToP) to immediately doing a more artistic yet old school look (The Broly movie)

@@maximumcockage6503 Nah the Broly animation/style is Wano style, same thick lines and same colors. One piece and Dragon ball is made by same studio/studos so soundtrack have been similar or same at times and animation have been similar or same at times, and style, this style however is not Broly movie style, it's Wano style that is.

I’m so glad egghead is getting animated! I’m loving the new style 😊
This means Zoro can slice through max form Pica with almost no effort now.
This made me very enthusiastic that they didn’t use some colorful haki aura to show how powerful the attack is. It lets the results speak for itself and I hope in egg head they don’t bring back all those colorful dragon ball z auras they were spamming in wano.
Zoro and Kenpachi would be best friends…any problem they face the answer is to cut 😂😂😂

Egghead is arguably the best arc in the series so far! Starting off the Final Saga with such an explosive and loaded arc is exciting.
Anime only fans are in for a treat.
If Zoro can cut a gigantic ball of water with just one sword, I bet he could cut big portion of the sea with 3, or maybe he could get rid of an entire ocean with 9 Sword Style if he chose to do so. He's so cool.
I'll call it first. Mihawk's first flex will be him cutting the ocean and we can see the bottom for thousands of miles.

This scene only shows the evolution of Zoro's techniques, if we went back to the beginning of the anime we would notice the huge difference, we clearly see the greatness in the sword art that he acquired throughout each arc, Egghead promises and a LOT! ❤️✨🔥
