Took this ride in sight seeing cars. Went we went down down below for a drink, we found that there was more to be seen, because in the summer the leaves block much of the view. I would not spend the extra money for the seats up top. We basically stayed down stairs and saw everything. On the way there the right side is against the mountain so mot much to see. If it runs in winter months it might be better upstairs.. The circle around the mountain was great. Normally the Hiwassee is dry above the powerhouse. This is because the water is diverted from the dam to the powerhouse.
This is indeed a very scenic video to watch! I would give anything to be on this train with the autumn colors so radiant! Fantastic job on filming this!

Yes it does. Check the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum web site. The Hiwassee Loop and Copperhill Special trips will run thru November.
