until Hydra comes Cardano has no advantage at all over Etheruem or any other PoS EVM compatibile smart contract L1s, Polygon, Avax, One, Fantom. and when Hydra comes (probably not before EoY) then we can talk, EVM compatibility is key imo for mass adaption or you will miss 2022 the year of NFT and Gaming apps
I see Cardano like investing into a blank canvas before a good artist (in this case, Charles) creates a masterpiece on it. It’s not much to look at right now but I believe down the line it will be. Long term hold and accumulate for me.

If you’ve watched a few of his open calls you’d see he discusses this, Ethereum and it’s short comings, in a live environment to the community. He’s never stated it’d be a guaranteed success, in fact the opposite. As other major devs behind big projects will say. He has however attracted the attention of investors and stuck to the development road map of the devs. One of the most interesting and highly staked projects in the crypto market imo. You can always buy Shib instead 😂

When it comes to the Coinfirm partnership, I think it's risk management. At first, I didn't like it, but that could turn out to be a pretty intelligent move given the uncertainty about future regulation. We will see. Your research was, as always, a few feet deeper than everybody else will ever do. I like your mindset and hope to see you hold your high level for years to come!
I have a big ada bag I plan to hodl. Projects need to learn to build on Cardano and based on meld's end of year recap, this is not an easy task. It may take all of 2022 for projects to move to mainnet. Then we need network adoption. We are early.
Very informative with lots of links to even more information videos on Cardano essentials. I thought it a fair, honest update, pointing out serious issues still needing resolution but also highlighting the many benefits and upcoming projects, Dapps & partnerships current and future. Has anybody tried using tokens minted on cardano? The transfer fee is only .18 Ada however it requires you to send nearly one-and-a-half Ada with each transfer rendering tokens minted on cardano useless… not to mention if the price of ADA goes up to $5 then that transfer fee starts becoming expensive.
Eth, Btc, Ada and many more went about 3,5 times their 2017/2018 highs. Seems logically. And therefore, I wouldn’t be surprised, we’re going down for quite a while.
Concurrency isn’t issue now it’s just back end build (PAB) finalising for independent Dapps, Cardano has other oracles than Chainlink like Charli3, but final comment “when Dapps launch $ADA is going to go nuts” I couldn’t agree more! 👍🏻 2022 should be epic for Cardano
"Guy" Really, "Concurrency issues"? Hold on. I think this is more about the fact that Cardano uses the extended UTXO model that is different from ETH's account based model and offers many advantages. Sundae Swap presented I believe 9 options on how eUTXO may be handled and they chose one among the lot but did not want to disclose their approach until they were ready for testnet. Cardano can process far more than 1 transaction per block.

The transfer fee is only .18 Ada however it requires you to send nearly one-and-a-half Ada with each transfer rendering tokens minted on cardano useless… not to mention if the price of ADA goes up to $5 then that transfer fee starts becoming expensive.

Eth, Btc, Ada and many more went about 3,5 times their 2017/2018 highs. Seems logically. And therefore, I wouldn’t be surprised, we’re going down for quite a while.

"Guy" Really, "Concurrency issues"? Hold on. I think this is more about the fact that Cardano uses the extended UTXO model that is different from ETH's account based model and offers many advantages. Sundae Swap presented I believe 9 options on how eUTXO may be handled and they chose one among the lot but did not want to disclose their approach until they were ready for testnet. Cardano can process far more than 1 transaction per block.
