In today's video, we share with you a bunch of footage from today which includes sneaker cashouts, buying shoes, sneaker reselling advice, buying vintage clothing, and getting scammed with fake sneakers in our shoe store. This customer bought Jordan 1 Bred Toe's in August of 2020. Over a year later, he came into our sneaker store and proposed a scam that lost us over $900. This really is what goes on in a day in the life of a sneaker store owner. We also share some sneaker reselling advice. We show you many sneaker unboxings in this video, which also feel like sneaker mystery boxes to us sometimes. We are starting a twitch stream, so make sure to go follow us on that platform! I don't even understand why u would refund the whole amount if he purchased back in August like that's way too long to get a refund.... U should have at most given him half his money... But being that long there's no way he deserves a refund even if he was being sincere...
Cams kicks once u leave the store there's no refunds if u bring them back and their real he will potentially buy them back at a discounted rate but that's up to him... He doesn't do refunds at all I think u guys should have a limited amount of time set that they can return after that period of time they are on their own

There's no reason to have a refund available past 30 days... just like every other store does for any category of item they have available for purchase

Good idea! what they have are some limited edition shoe charms in their stash they can put together full wardrobe pieces for their clients and or entertainers. Complete fits for ON STAGE personalities. That's what I do for my clients. People like exclusive ONESIES, especially celebrities, DJ's, TV Host, actors etc. I bet after Christmas the fellas will be doing some special stuff. #keepbangin'

What you guys can do, (as a suggestion) take some time to check with your people first before making decisions. Maybe tell the customer you guys need 1-3 days to investigate before coming to a solution etc for backend purposes. I hope you guys would come up with contingency plans if such things happen again! Sorry about the loss though :(

Honestly when a customer scams you like that, especially as a small business - expose them (more than that security cam pic). Or at least find him on social media & send his profile to conventions/store owners privately (instead of publicly doxxing). Sneaker community is somewhat small, expose who it is so he doesn't do it to other businesses. Chances are if he's bold enough to do it to you guys he probably did it to someone else or is gonna go around and do it to other people.
Also if he's from your town just beat his ass after hours :shrug:

As a retail manager I know how hard it is in the moment when they say it from your store. They’re usually in pissy mode easily set off on anything you say even when your just tryna figure out the situation. And you wanna take care of it right in the moment so it hard to say wait a minute and get the whole story, as that could set them off even further. Honestly sucks part of the life of retail honestly the consumer needs to understand there’s steps to process like this and it takes time and it would be a lot easier in situations where your stores did something “wrong”
