I wrote, produced, sang most of the vocals and played all the instruments on this song. People get confused because Peyton cut me out of the video, but it's not his song, it's my song with him as a feature 👍
Brother I’m the same, not to put down how you’ve played or anything but i am utterly obsessed with the game and the feel logging 300+ hours in 6 different play throughs and love every second of it from raiding to exploring every inch and living the Viking life
now that you've passed amateur-hour, you're free to listen to Amon Amarth at your own leisure ;D "with oden on our side" would be a good starting point.
Miracle of Sound does mostly game related or themes music but he also does songs about movies, tv shows, books and two about mythology (he's done Witcher, Game of Thrones, Dune and more). He also has some original songs that are pretty good like "The Death of Rock & Roll". It also covers a wide range of styles as they are matched to the theme they are based on: this song Assassin's Creed Valhalla was Celtic & Metal, Cyberpunk 2077 was Electronic & Pop, DOOM was Hard Rock & Metal, Game of Thrones was Folk & Orchestral etc.
Floke the shipbuilder is awesome, but Ubbe must be my favorite by an inch. He went to America, and still the slow spanish guys get all the honour for finding a land that was already found many hundred years before!
When I hear that freaking strong part "Vallhalla calling me" the only thing that crosses my mind is two axes ready for the fun outside like a punisher madman
Well well well...I might be the first to expose a bit of inspiration for this song, coming from the HU Band (mongolian epic songmakers), they even payed them homage at the end with the Hu Hu Hu and throat singing =)

Mainstream games are like any other mainstream media... Blunt and shallow with all the details missing. Where are the cloth physics? Someone living in moms basement managed to create HDT physics for Skyrim a decade ago, how is it that a Tripple-A studio with millions of dollars in their accounts cant manage to make one in 2022?

from someone who's logged 600 hours in the game it's well worth it. The song is epic and it's awesome to see it get this type of attention!
