Swami Sarvapriyananda is a dynamic young monk of the Ramakrishna Math. Since joining the Order in 1994, he has served in various capacities including Vice- Principal of the Deoghar Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, and Principal of the Sikshana Mandira Teachers' Training College at Belur Math, near Calcutta, India.

Thank you for this talk, and others. Your words continually nudge me along my path to contentment.
This is about how to end human suffering permanently in this world.
If we see last 2000 years humans history, there were many good kings, bad kings, good leaders, bad leaders, good people and bad people, happy days, painful days, celebrations with happiness, violence in wars, respecting the women , and raping so many women by individuals and by religious fanatism, believing God and doing good to others, believing God and doing bad to others, some Athiest, some agnostics.
Many lacs of poor people are suffering without food, without basic needs like water, clothes, even tent house not there, etc. Did any god came and cleared their problems? No. No god came to help them. I am not criticising god, because God had done his/her duty of creation and running it, and all required things created for people living peacefully, but people are not managing the world and it's resources properly, not maintaining population in limits, but increased too much population and leaders also not showing any interest to control the population. So, some people are creating problems, not god so, it is people's duty to solve the problems, but not god's duty. We can't criticise god for poverty or violence in society. Many people are misunderstanding God , but God is not coming to tell people what is God? Who is God? What are his original teachings if any? What are fake teachings by ordinary people on the name of God if any? God is not coming to people to solve any type of conditions and ordinary people are imagiging whatever they want about god and saying this as truth. Atleast if god comes once in every 100 years and clears all people doubts, then all peope in this get so much clarity about religions, gods, their help how much, what are our duties, etc. But, god is not coming. God could speak in invisible form to all people in open place in day time without showing his/her form if our power or qualities not enough to see god, so that all could understand God in proper manner, but god is not speaking anything. And people are believing whatever they want without using basic commonsense, logic, reason because of fear of god, heaven, hell, etc.
Many people are living happily with enough resources, so most of them don't bother about problems in this world , why because they may not have interest, they may be busy, and they are not creating problems, so why to bother about it, they think like this. That is fine, nothing wrong in that. But, the world is connected, so anywhere anything good or bad happens, it effects most people lives. If in India , one year no rain and in maxico , enough rain there, and their farmers done good production of rice, vegetables, they can export to India if India pays money. So, peace and violence in society also effects everyone in society, though we don't know when we will be effected because of that. Rich person may think, i have enough money, but if some highly poor people because of no food think about attacking the rich person family on road with weapons to steal money, or rape the women, just imagine the consequences. So, nobody is safe in this world as long as whole world is not good and all countries are not doing well. The world is one family.
The issue is all about how to end people sufffering? Some people suffer because of internal enemies also like anger, greediness, desires, lust, miser, bad habits, etc. This is also another type of suffering. So, as long as people exist on earth, many people always suffer from external issues or internal enemies. There is no end to it. In this kaliyug, the suffering will be more. So, it will only increase after some years, but don't decrease. We are already seeing so much pollution in air, water, etc. and we get hybrid food without strength, cost of living increased, many countries hating each other and showing interest in wars, so much unemployment, too much population, etc. This is all kaliyug effect. Dharm will decrease in kaliyug. So, as long as people there on earth, the problems and suffering of some people always happen, there is no end to it. So, only solution is we have to make this world empty without any people. For that, there is no need to die. Just that, all people should stop producing children. But, people can marry if they like to marry, but they should not give birth to children. Then, all people can focus on doing work, meditation, devotion, and all other activities, people who have extra money can help needy people, etc and live for 100-150 years and all will die, and after that no people there in this world to face any troubles or suffering. If anybody wants to show their religious fanatism also, it is not possible, because all people will die. It does not happen suddenly, it takes time, because many people may not agree to stop producing children, but seeing the suffering in the world, slowly their next generation will realise and stop producing children. God is not coming to tell us all this or any other thing. Just we have to think about how to end suffering of all people permanently in this world. Some people like Hindus, Buddhists may think about how our bad karma to be removed if there is no re-birth? They believe, humans take re-births as per their good and bad karmas and till they become completely good on earth, they keep on taking different types of lives based on their karmas. We don't need to bother about bad karmas and re-births even if nature or god planned it. Why because, it is not easy thing to become completely pure, so much practice required. If people come and give 3-4 children, then they do some mistakes and for that re-births taking, then there is no end to this. There is no ending to this. If anybody wants to remove their bad karmas, then use this life to remove all bad karmas by living in good path, that is enough. Make resolve, this life i will remove all bad karmas and get Nirvana/moksha. If it does not happen, no problem, just try. That is enough. We did not tell nature or god to do creation. If creation happened by god, then God did it for his/her own happiness or any other reason that god knows. God did not ask the people after creation, can I continue this creation or you need any support, etc. ? So, no need to bother about re-births and bad karma removal. If creation happened naturally, then no need to bother anything, just live happily and peacefully and let others also live happily. That is enough. Accept all types of good paths like Athiest, Thiest, Agnostic. Because, in all these paths good and bad people there, so don't say only my religion and my path is good, don't say my god is best God, before saying that first check the path is actually good or bad by using commonsense and logic. Why because, some bad people in the past could add some cruel teachings on the name of God to get some benefits. So, all good teachings and bad teachings influence the people. Only good teachings we have to take and bad teachings we have to leave. If for example, by reading and understanding Gautama Buddha teachings about human suffering how to end if people thought 2000 years before and if people stopped producing children, ordinary people would not have faced two world wars, so much normal violence, so much religious violence all over the world. Atleast now, we have to start this mission.

@@nirodha35 bhagvad Gita class audio is available on google play and Apple store podcast on the vedanta NY channel. But since Swamiji is on summer break, only the first 2 chpaters have been covered

Fire burns you depending on your nearness to it. Otherwise fire is just it all by itself. Pure awareness remain all by itself unless it misinterprets itself as an egotistic Self.
Pranam maharaj as usual your erudition leaves me spell bound. but this discourse on Greta leaves a question in my mind. at many places Krishna tells Arjuna to leave everything on to Him and simply go on doing his duty.

Sorry, I'm not Swamiji. But I believe the answer is that names and forms and action continue, but Arjuna is to act without attachment, so that he sees all things as the same.

Why is this body flesh and blood required to seek the truth?
Take the eg of Chinmayananda Maharaj upon asking for water... You can.not bring water without a container... So Brahman itself takes names and forms to experience itself...
This is stated in his example when guru asks for water and has to be given in a container else cannot be brought
