A very tough crowded market to enter with some very serious competition. Caterpillar, Komatsu, Deere, Case, Newholland, Liebherr, Dressta? A key question that should of been asked is about the drive system. Is the machine Torque conv or Hydrostatic drive? That is a major feature to overlook. A little more weight and a little more hp isn't going to cut it, that's not enough to stand out in this crowd. Saying that, To be a big player you need a dozer in your lineup. Just look at Volvo, they want to be a big player, yet still Don't have a crawler.... They or Doosan should have bought Dressta and built off of that lineup. I see the Doosan dozer as a tough sell...
I'm excited but also not excited. I currently have a doosan 225 and 350 excavator. My 225 is a piece of art I love it everything about it has been exactly what I needed it for and more. My 350 is crap on a wall. I've had more down time than anything on that machine due to after treatment and electrical issues. The main reason behind getting the doosan was for its class it had the most power and the price point was unbeatable. I'm very nervous about how doosan will decide to take this forward but hopefully they will have a good product with these smaller dozers.
The early t4f DX300's and 350's used Scania engines. Great engines, but service is specialized compared to the Doosan powered lineup. (Scania software / technician experience). Be sure the servicing dealer has these things. 2018ish these models went to the Doosan DL08 (took them a few years to complete after treatment design in this engine) and that's what is in current production machines.

I'm looking forward to seeing one of these Dozers in Bobcat colors.
Will not happen - Operationally, Doosan & Bobcat have ceased 'shared' models beginning in 2022.
Looks like it’s a short track, difficult to hold grade?
Wondering if it will have a built in grade control like Cat's slope assist?
