So I found a ttrpg that basically stylized itself like the older 2d jrpg games like ff1-6. It also uses an idea where you investing a number of smaller roles to equate to a larger job class. I've been slowly adapting the FFXIV story, creatures, items and map to be played in the game setting
I'd love to listen to a 8-bit rendition of the Shadowbringers boss theme from you, this one and the Endwalker boss theme that you did earlier are incredibly well done! Left me in awe at how good they were.
I cannot tell you how much I love this, I've shed a good amount of tears just from the first listen through. And the beginning of the musical phrase right at 2:00 gives me chills EVERY TIME!! My favorite part, it's incredible thank you creating and sharing this with us.
It was fun to create those, the paladin is from FF XIV's Twitter fankit, but on the other hand, Argos was made from scratch, and I kinda fell in love with it, ngl!
That's actually just a part of Flow itself as well. It's more noticeable in the 8 bit cover here, but it's definitely there in the original version too! It's a beautiful theme/song either way!
@@daeronxi2804 You hear it in parts before and after this but it's at it's most noticeable at this section in it's more original theme in the background: 0:50-1:10 Once you've heard it there you can also pick it up at 1:50-2:20 in a Flow theme sort of remix where it takes front and center
Excellent arrangement. I like the funky backbeat. I like how the melody is true to the original, and the accompaniment is embellished in the space between melodic phrases. That's how a cover should be. You deserve more exposure!
man I was shocked when I found the secret elpis dungeon by going back to the first's crystal tower in the final chapter you don't see secrets like this anymore
I've just watched a video of an interview with the singer, where soken literally sent her a midi file to base on first and she sang on higher notes because of it, if not she would've sang it lower, which is brilliant since now we have this masterpiece.
Me: Finds 8-Bit ver of Zodiark's theme Me: "Hm, wonder if this was the person who made the 8-bit Ver of Flow." *Finds it is, starts 8-Bit Flow* *Starts Crying* "God damnit, I didn't mean to cry this morning."
Such a wonderful song, and you did an amazing job with reimagining it in 8-bit! I noticed some of the drawn out parts in the original is cut short here, which makes it flow a lot better in this 8-bit style! It must've been difficult to make!
Hello! I created those sprites from existing sprites in Final Fantasy games! Venat is based on Lenna from FFV's white mage job. Meanwhile Argos was made from scratch!
I’d play the entirety of XIV’s story in this format, honestly.
Imagine the 24-man battle, or the dodging mechanic similar to undertale
Years ago, Square did a version of the Titan Extreme fight in this art style, though not as a SNES-era FF fight.

@@Blitzwaffen and now we got FFXIV TTRPG :3
2:00 I hear you bro. This joint is crazy.
This song is a bit hard to loop around, so that's why I decided to end it in a good fashion. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Your words are too kind. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
It's amazing how you added such a strong feeling of nostalgia to an already deeply emotional piece of music. Great work!
>Fight
>Special> Pet
>Argos
very well done. Sprite art will always hold a special place in my heart.

I checked your channel from your other FFXIV remix to discover a brand new release not even a day old. They're both excellent!
If Final Fantasy 14 was a SNES title.
Final Fantasy 14 Demake?
The world of Eorzea overworld, boss fights, main story questlines, etc.
The quiet moment at 2:00 before it breaks down is just *chefkiss*. This whole remix is mint!
Dat harmony is on fire.
Thank you! I usually think about lots of harmonics for existing songs, so it helps when creating 8 bit versions!
Brings an authentic nostalgic sound that immediately brings me back to that memory and feeling I had when playing games as kid.
Woah somehow you captured that style of music so well! The visual is also awesome lol. Really nice work.
Thank you! The whole arrangement process was some unholy works, but it was also a great learning experience
I love how you combined the normal Final Fantasy theme to Flow.
That's actually just a part of Flow itself as well. It's more noticeable in the 8 bit cover here, but it's definitely there in the original version too! It's a beautiful theme/song either way!
Where? Or do you mean the prelude section?

@@ultimaaxe I hate that I can’t hear it lmao, at least if we are talking about the Final Fantasy Main Theme
My god this is good. Keep up the great work I didnt think i needed an 8 bit version of this but this is perfect.
This game makes me cry with every random dialogue NPC says

Thanks a lot!
I shivered so much hearing the firsf few notes... reminiscent of when I first heard Flow...
Oh that is *REAL* 8-bit. Fantastic.

Very nice use of the prelude as the backing track, VERY subtle but ties the theme well to the original point of the song
Been listening to this for a few days and man is it incredible. Great work!
Thank you so much!
I really really wish I could play XIV with all the tracks arranged like this.
Wow...this....this is amazing and gave me so many nostalgic feels....
Time to add this to my ringtone
Is that some good ole Jake Kaufman influence I hear in those background arpeggios? Good work, and always nice to see a fellow tracker recommended!
Here to help with the algorithm. Thank you for this music. I really enjoyed it.
We need more of these.
I love this! I wish you had more subs! You deserve each and every one you have and plenty more!
This is a bop keep up the good work
I would love to hear Endcaller done in this style
This is SO COOL!!!!! Holy shit.
Venat in FFRK would fit a unique Knight/Dancer combo
Why does Nath have only 160 subs with this kind of quality? Shame on YT. Get some exposure in here.
YEAHHH
Just go with The Flow.
I like this a lot! keep doing more!

Totally not crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Wanna know how to crush my soul? Make a close the distance 8 bit remix.
(Please do it.)
I've had some requests of this one song. I'll try and do my best! :)
Who did the sprite models for Venat and Argos?
Hello! I created those sprites from existing sprites in Final Fantasy games! Venat is based on Lenna from FFV's white mage job. Meanwhile Argos was made from scratch!
@@nathsfsongs very cool!! :D
@1:20 to ~1:25 being weeby but does anyone else hear "arigatou, ne" as the 'lyrics'?
... I can't hear it now. Thanks!
my only nitpick is... Venat and the dog should have large overstylized amano art work, not your standard sprite work.
That would be amazing, but also a tough load of work!
Funky
Plx play on 1.25x speed, and yes theres a need to thank me.
