Watsup boys!!! How's everything! I ordered rhe Ford 8.8 rear end finished ordering everything now waiting for the parts then installing it and measure the drive shaft and order one from local custom drive shaft and that's it. Got some hard diff mounts too

I had to do the same as well when fitting my bigger intercooler remove that M sport piece from the undertray. I just don't screw in the undertray onto bumper anymore. All the rest of the scews are more than enough
You can fix that upwards look by putting the underside of the lip in compression.
The ‘Lightweight’ lip for the M2 has a similar issue with it angling upwards, they provide a triangular shaped wedge which gets bolted between the lip and the front bar. Thinking it could possibly be a solution.
Looks like ABS plastic, we use that material in a lot of race car splitters.
The angle will disappear once the car reaches enough road speed, the air will push it down.
Looks good.
It's HDPE (high density polyethylene), much more indestructible than ABS. But it has a downside that you can't paint it when it gets scratched like you can ABS.
Hi Guys, just leave the silly bottom trays off, I remove them from ALL of my car's. There is no issue whatsoever (I live in Massachusetts where we have lots of rain and snow).
Also makes working on the cars much easier. No extra road noise, mileage drop or issues with debris.. Just remove both under engine AND Transmission under-trays and throw them in the bin!! Also easier to trace any type of leak if needed and doesn't MASK your fluid leaks :)
You and I are on the same page. However i will say on dirt roads it does make the bay dusty. I dont run it on my 17t car, but do on most of the others.

You don't want the engine bay to act as a parachute. Undertray is good.
Looks good guys! Frustrating issue with the fitment but looks doable in the end, sure you could space it out with some other material between the lip and bumper but end result in the video looked okay 👍🏼 What Exhaust setup is Dylan running? Sounds mean!
Super exotic exhaust on dylans car. They used a lithium battery angle grinder to cut the rear mufflers out instead of a mains powered one...... :P He's even still got mid cats.

I bought the side skirts last week, was hoping they would be here to install this weekend. I'll let you know how they fit and look

For aero effect you want front lip angled slightly upwards

It's interesting. My car doesn't have the plastic piece that was pulled off. Maybe it was removed before I got it but even the 335i I had before the one I have now didn't have that piece either. Both were/are 2008 models. Maybe it's an Australian thing or Canadian thing? I dunno. But I like the look of the splitter.
Did you have msports? I wonder if its a e92 m sport thing. They bumper is definitely a different angle compared to non m and e90s.

i run the flow designs front lip on my car and happy with install and i dont mind that it points up. I like how it makes the front a bit more agressive looking and completes the look of the font of the car.

Hit the hardware with some satin matte spary paint from supercheap. Honestly you don't realise the lip is too angled. He'll love it regardless

It should angle up. This is how it is supposed to work.
Race cars do angle up and are not flat. Usually a few degrees.
@@davizzleman I think you will find race cars angle the other way. The way this angles would create lift, not downforce.

They are way better value than the "carbon fiber" that's really fibreglass with a carbon top layer from china, US etc. I fitted my full kit with rear diffuser and pods etc from a well known US supplier and It looks great but def wouldn't recommend for the price and quality, clearly from china

@@ZeroTo60Tube think it was around 2.5k mark, they tried to scam an extra 1k on top of freight in import costs and made threats so the bank agreed they were dodgy and gave me all my money back. DM me if you wanna know the company, horrible experience
Thats the same plastic they use for high end RC car bumpers.. it can take the abuse.

Recycling code states number 2 so it's HDPE (high density polyethylene). Bucket plastic. Excellent resistance for solvents.
