Background knowledge: Lhoba ethnicity is one of the recognised ethnicity by govt. of people republic of China. it has a very small population with only few thousand, which make it the most smallest ethnicity of china. it comprises mostly of Tani tribe and idu mishmi tribe. Lhoba ethnic minority can be further classified into many sub categories like bangni, bokar and Yidu.
Idu mishmi tribe is know as "yidu lhoba" in china. They are found across the McMohan line. in China they are found in Xiba village, Zayu County, Nyingchi prefacture, Tibet autonomous region, China
