O wow,I am so impressed. The lady is so lovely and humble. She has great self control, but I can hear the emotion in her voice. Understandable. The chateau is extraordinary. Huge space indeed. People like saying words with certain intonation about such families with chateau,castles...but I doubt that the majority of them have a realistic idea, what enormous responsibility it is really. And pride of course, but they pay the price one way or another. I love the techniques the resorator was using. So interesting. Touching delicately and revealing original colours. So exciting. All is impressive inside and outside. So much history, the stories..you can almost smell it how it was in the past. I would love to visit this chateau should I have the opportunity. It would be truly special experience. Thank you for this great episode 👍 RIP Madame Mini de Beauvau- Craon.

The presenter probably never sees our comments but clearly the tour is much appreciated by many and I hope they know that. A great responsibility for she and her brother. By living there and paying attention as they grew up, listening to family stories/history, roaming through out the many spaces - high and low - they are now the subject matter experts. Bien joué!

I visited twice with my daughter. It's so beautiful! I remember driving into the village out on the countryside and all of a sudden this giant chateau is right in front of you, something you wouldn't expect at all.
The roofs looked shiny as silver with the sunlight on it.
It was stunning, I was really happy to be there!
    Greetings from Germany 🥰💖👋

Stop at 01:09 and you see lots of storks (FR: cigognes) nesting on the chimneys. And all through the presentation the German shepherd dog makes sure his owner is safe. I love that.

Victoria, hi from Russia. It's a great pleasure, that some of the family castles/chateaus are in such great condition. And a great pleasure that You do share a family history with UA-cam viewers. Hope, You know the meaning of the few coats of arms that You showed. And called them as "family symbols". According to the coats of arms, You and me are far-far-far relatives. Also, You should know to have wide range of relatives in few special locations in Europe. With the same coats of arms. And not only in France. Some of them keeps studying the family history and shows it to the public. As do I. And You.
If You want an additional compliment, Your chateau/mansion/palace looks litle bit gloomy for me, but for sure is one of the most attractive in architectural point of view among the family estate. God knows why, but architectural design and taste was not among the main achievements of the family, as I know ;) So, good luck in keeping this masterpiece. And in development and maintaining. You're great! Bon chance!

All of those pieces of tissue on the wall is actually how they clean it, it is so fascinating and painstakingly done.
I’m wondering if her German Shepherd is a little older because he does exactly what mine does, lays down immediately when we get into a new room, just can’t stand for long anymore. Although he may just be exhausted walking around somethings so huge.

A beautiful fairy tale castle. She seems to relish the accomplishment of the restoration as much as the end result. I flipped houses in South Carolina, nothing remotely on this exquisite grandeur. But at the end of each long hard battle of redoing the entire inside and landscaping the grounds. I was as much pleased with the adventure of the redo as I was with the end result. Cheers from the States❤️

This is what we want to see in French palaces from the inside, the ceiling and the high ceilings, the preservation of the high ceilings, the pictures, the floor and the gardens. The important thing is this, which I wanted to see in the high-ceilinged rooms of a real palace and the old furniture. Preserving everything as it was in the rooms. Also, I do not want to see the restoration of the palaces, but some sing it in the modern style. From the inside, but this is what we want to see how the palaces and life in ancient times were really, very beautiful and wonderful👍👏🌷

French (or Carom) Billiards...... who knew that existed??? (aside from the French, of course). Very interesting. There are lot of variations of the game. The baize wool table top surface is very smooth as there is no "nap" to allow the ball to roll faster and employ "english" (ironically) better. (in snooker, the baize is very nappy so the balls slow down faster). The table is to be heated underneath to allow less friction. It is where the word of the day, 'Carambolage'; (a succession of collisions) comes from. Henceforth, when I witness a pileup of cars in an accident, I will point and say to my friend, "A ha! Carambolaaaaaaage"
