Drawing Clips with a Bloom Cross Pein Hammer

Roy Bloom, CJF APF-I works through the process of drawing a clip using a Bloom Forge 2 lb Cross Pein hammer. There are a number of ways to draw clips, however the steps are very similar for most. You have to start by creating a "source" for the clip material with all of them. Roy is using a Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory Standard Max shoe for this demo. The Standard Max shoe is approximately 3/8" thick and provides plenty of source material for modifications, including clips. A forged clip is one of the requirements for the American Farrier's Association Certification shoe display also.
