Really hard not to genuinely like the kid. Outside of his unbelievable skills, he seems like a solid, genuine, Midwestern kid. Really impressed with this young man.

Definitely agree with ya, next year should be interesting of we can keep McNamara on the program as the 2nd QB and doesnt transfer. He would be perfect as our backup next season

Rare sight, he is a stud and rightfully confident in his abilities, yet knows his role and that his time will come. Most people with his talents would rush to the transfer portal.

@@gnar7003 he got passed up in the depth chart by Joe Milton cuz he wasn't good enough to play at michigan and now he plays at some small Colorado school with his dad.
@@gnar7003 I watch plenty of modern college football lmao. Most quarterbacks sit at least a year. They don't usually transfer in their rookie season either.

Tom Brady gets his recievers to practice with out pay on their own time at public field as J.J. did @ 4am in the morning 🌄. Not required : the initiative that this man has taken .puts him above and beyond .others at his position.

JJ will be the starting QB next year, he has so much more upside than Cade. I really wish they would start him now, he just doesn’t have the experience. Nothing against Cade, he seems like a good leader but he’s a game manager. For Uof〽️ to be elite you need a dynamic QB that can do it all. JJ just needs some more experience.

Michigan finally is having some luck with 5 stars and we have the best and maturest QB in the bunch he is a diamond in the rough and he has a lot of Jims traits and he is patient which is just awesome for us he can score at will I believe every chance he has had he has converted he is a special type of player ITS GREAT TO BE MICHIGAN WOLVERINE ITS GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE!!!!

Got more maturity and perspective in his pinky fingernail than so many fans that keep spouting off that he MUST become the quarterback now. He may be ready now. He may not be ready now. But when his time comes I'm confident he'll be do his best. I hope he can weather the storm from the immature fans who have never competed at anything let alone at a high level when he makes a mistake. Now lets let the adult coaches who see these young men every day do their job and set him up for success.

Michigan has two hot quarterbacks now (Cade McNamara and JJ McCarthy) that must be giving Notre Dame contortions because they are both Irish American with classic good looks. Notre Dame expects all Irish Americans (and in JJ's case from next door Chicago) to go there.
J.J. still ( going forward) gives MICHIGAN THE BEST CHANCE TO WIN AGAINST TOP COMPETITION .
SO MUCH MORE DECISIVE AND MULTIPLE THREAT TALENT .

MY BROTHER QB IN THE 70s had that kind of interest talent . And awe shucks ain't nothing attitude . Coupled with one he'll of a work ethic . It's what winners are made from .up and beyond their natural ability . It can't be coached .encouraged never taught but appreciated .

We have lost a number of terrific, ultra hard working over and above relenting to a media hype suggestive .
Some how he will choke, he gets that deer in headlights look . Watch him on the sidelines . The pros see that too. Tgey didn't come calling because they don't feel he will make the right decision when crunch time .it necessary !

And cade is kinda like brady (OBVIOUSLY not as good). A really good game manager.

You may think JJ is soft, but I appreciate that he’s a good kid who appreciates the opportunities and love he gets. This is very different from the typical pricks you see in the Michigan football program.

Cade has this year and that’s it, JJ is to good to waste his talent on the bench or only have him for one year.
