For everyone commenting how she sounds down, unenthusiastic or not okay it's literally a fucking makeup tutorial. Not everyone is naturally chipper and this is her natural tone and voice. She is just voicing what she is putting on. What do you expect her to do, constantly laugh and grin? She sounds perfectly normal...stop making assumptions.

youre not jumping out ofthe screen with excitement so you must be "changing" or "uninterested".. shes filming a voice over.. imagine you sittimg over your mic rewatching yourself do your makeup in your room after spending hours editing and i cant imagine yous bursting at the seems either.. people are so quick to comment and scrutinize and then thinking by putting "i love your videos tho" at the end of it makes it all okay.. dont.mind them.. do you!

+Nadine Hannon but its her CAREER, in other words, its her JOB to provide viewers with content that is enjoyable. And yes, if it was my job, I would put in more effort. I am passionate about my job/career which is why I try and put in 100% effort. We all work and some of us have harder jobs than sitting on our arses and edited a video..
"spending hours editing" isnt a good enough reason for doing a half ass job.
p.s. no body asked her to "burst at the seems" or whatever you were trying to say there. Theyre just requesting that she be a little more enthusiastic (for a video that lasts 10 minutes), whats the big deal or offensive content in that?

No hate but I feel like Lauren has become less enthusiastic and disinterested in her videos during the last few months. It's clear from some other comments that a lot of others feel the same. I remember she said in an old video that if she wanted to quit youtube she would, which is why I feel disappointed that she now does youtube primarily for the money, fan obligations, etc. I could be completely wrong here but I don't think I am, since a lot of other fans have noticed it too.
It's also clear that a lot of her views have dropped from what they were, so a lot of viewers are either bored with her videos or can tell that she is not as interested as she used to be. Of course Lauren is free to do whatever she wants and my opinions do not dictate what she does, but I hope that if my hunch is right about Lauren that she figures out what she wants to do and is happy with her choices, not what makes her the most money. And if anybody actually reads this comment, I am not being rude, mean, etc. This is simply me being observant to the (probable) truth and discussing it. Being critical doesn't make anybody a bully, simply observant. I'm not putting Lauren down, though I do wish that if she reads this comment that she takes this advice on board and listens to her fans.

She ONLY uploads once a week? She's doing this for her fans, and we aren't paying her. If she uploaded once a month that'd be fine. She's incredibly talented and all of her looks are gorgeous. Also, if she really was depressed, saying it wouldn't help at all.

She has got to be the dullest person I have watched. Definitely unsubscribing this time, every time she uploads (lucky if that's once a month) I hope that it's going to be like old Lauren who was fun to watch and had some personality. Money isn't worth doing something you don't love.

Hi lauren, I've been watching you since you were at 50k and have seen every video you've uploaded. I just thought I'd try give some constructive feedback. I'd love to see more favourites videos, or more celebrity inspired looks. I personally believe that the ongoing criticism of you 'losing your passion' stems from the fact that it has been a little while since you've shared with us a new product that you're really excited about, or recreated a makeup look you that were really inspired by. I mean absolutely no disrespect by this because I love you and have been following you for the longest time, I just would personally really enjoy more inspired looks and favourites videos/videos where you're recommending products and sharing your knowledge. Also, I think some collabs with other youtubers would be really fun to see!! Thanks for reading, have a lovely day xxx

And you know what they say, you do your best work when you do a job that makes you happy. Lauren - I loved this look and I loved the video. I don't care if you upload once a week or once I month - I will always jump to watch it. You are so beautiful, funny, genuinely kind, goofy and relatable and I can see the effort that goes into all of your work. In this day and age social media is such a big part of our lives and it's so easy to just type out a comment and not think about who is going to see it and what consequences it may bring. Lauren you have an incredible job and although there's not many jobs like it there would always be hard elements to it like everyone else's. One of them being dealing with negative people on social media. In this video I really saw you trying to explain every move you made in case somebody saw fault in it.
You are older than you were when you started and things change in life like they do for all of us. Don't apologise for what you do or who you are - because there are so many of us who think the world of you - no matter what :) xxx

I love how in these times where a lot of popular you tubers are getting lip fillers and cosmetic surgeries you embraced your natural lips and are comfortable in your own skin. I'm not against procedures but it is so beautiful and inspiring to see someone accepting themselves as they are if you know what I mean xx

I don't think that she's unenthusiastic at all! She's still the same to me. Same little giggles in between her sentences that she finds funny (I find it adorable). It's a makeup tutorial. She filmed herself doing makeup and now she's doing a voice over including her opinion of the products that she used. Do you guys laugh by yourselves by doing your makeup alone? Like what more do you need from her? The look was amazing and beautiful. Please stop the negativity.

Absolutely stunning 😘 the gold in the inner corner really set this eye look off and took it to the next level so a great decision on that too! A lot of people (including myself) would have done the standard bright inner corner so thank you for showing me other options! Also... I can really tell you are trying new looks that's out of your comfort zone and you are killing it! You also seem a lot more relaxed in your videos again, I know I've commented before saying I felt you sounded a little rehearsed in your videos, and I no longer think that. I love the fact that you don't wear too much foundation, I don't feel really comfortable when I see someone wearing too much foundation, it looks like doll face and I personally don't think it's pretty. Your look is pretty natural and I love that, stunning look Lauren, as always!

Don't know about all of you in the comments but I would MUCH rather watch an informative 7 minute long make up tutorial than someone constantly blabbering on for 30 minutes and screaming 'YAAAASS' every 5 seconds when applying their makeup.
