This movie is absolutely nuts. How in the world did this get made? I have no doubt you could pick someone off the street and they'd make an infinitely better movie. Great reaction and review ,this was hilarious👌🏾
Well, the Howard the Duck comic books are really great, and the reason George Lucas wanted to make a film adaptation of the Howard the Duck comics because he really enjoys Howard the Duck comic books. He wanted the film to be animated but Universal force him to make it live action instead. The film turned out to be unfaithful adaptation of the comics. Read the Howard the Duck comic books, they're amazing in my opinion and is not like the 80's Howard the Duck film at all.
I watched this as a kid also.. And ducks are delicacy in our place.. So i cried everytime im invited in every parties... Even now i dont eat duck meats anymore..
But the Howard the Duck comic book series is really great though. Don't let the movie judge the character entirely. Outside the Howard the Duck movie, the Howard the Duck franchise is really great and is one of the most underrated characters in Marvel history.
Oh thanks so much guys for reacting to this crazy movie! So many weird stuff in there. As a kid I remember enjoying it but today, that movie makes even less sense than back then! Loved the joke when he says: - I still feel like I might have some bad dreams about it. - Yeah, I'm gonna have dreams about it too. - I can't help but to notice you left out the word "bad". :'D
Howard the Duck is never meant for a specific audience to be for kids to begin with. The audience for Howard the Duck comic book series is the same demographic as The Simpsons, like around the age for teens/young adults. The Howard the Duck comics is ahead of its time with its clever writing and satire of pop culture and everyday life in a point of view of Howard. It has great comedy and told deep stories as well. Howard the Duck did all this before the Simpsons and did really well in its own style. so it's really ahead for its time back in the 70's. This Howard the Duck film barely has anything to do with a comics, thus, not much a faithful adaptation, but I enjoy and really like it for what it is though. But don't let the film give you impression that it represents the Howard the Duck franchise entirely. The Howard the Duck comics are really great and still highly hold up to this day. Howard the Duck comic book series is honestly my favorite comic book series and it's my main reason why I'm a huge Howard the Duck fan. I wish Howard the Duck is mainly known for his comic book series rather than the 80's film adaptation to be honest.
THIS is the reason why the first MARVEL picture could have been rated R (or PG-13 in the mid '80s) for frontal (duck) nudity... and Lea's underpants (WOLF HOWL)!!!!!
This movie flopping indirectly led to Pixar -- its failure led to George Lucas having to sell off Lucasfilm's animation division, and that developed into Pixar, so we have Howard the Duck to thank for Toy Story and Ratatouille and Finding Nemo
And also, the Howard the Duck movie is an un-faithful adaptation to the comics it's based on. George Lucas originally want to make a faithful film adaptation, with hand drawn animation in Heavy Metal style. Which honestly would fit really well for a Howard the Duck movie. But Universal told Lucas that the film has to be live action as a Summer blockbuster film and George unfortunately hired directors and writers who didn't read the Howard the Duck comics much, which explains why the film is not overall faithful to the comics and why it turn out the way it is. If the film stick with the original plans and executed the same tone and style like adult animated flicks like Fritz the Cat, which originally it's going to be like, the Howard the Duck film would've turn out great and faithful to its source material. I still like the 80's Howard the Duck movie for what it is, and I even love the soundtrack of this film. But the film is nowhere near as amazing as the Howard the Duck comic book series. The Howard the Duck comics are really great and still highly hold up to this day. I have a collection of lot of 1970's Howard the Duck comics and I still have a blast reading them, they're so fun. Howard the Duck deserves a great film adaptation. Howard needs to recover from the reputation the 80's film did to him.
bruh im sorry but you gotta do something about the sound....woah....the bass on the video you were reacting to is way too high. Also your wife is hot....anyways....fix that sound
It's funny how many people saw this as kids. Parents in the 80s and 90s didn't seem to have any idea Howard definitely wasn't for kids. Lol
Very true!!

I'm pretty sure drugs must have been involved.

Howard the Duck appeared in Aventure Endgame too :)
one of my favorite puppet-scifi-comedy-monster movies ever! i saw it for the first time in the 80's and i wasn't happy until i got the dvd 😄
Predator is indeed an 80s classic. Someone needs to make Linda understand that.
Howard showed up in the post-credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy and he showed up in Endgame.
The Howard the Duck comics are actually pretty fantastic, and probably not what you expect. For sure nothing like the movie!
I literally had to google this one and am relieved Stan Lee was not the person who created Howard The Duck lol

Running into pies is tight
If you think this one's bad, the Captain America movie from 1990 is rated 1.5 stars lower than this on IMDb and 2% lower on Rotten Tomatoes.
I like you guys your look like fun people
Thanks for watching , and welcome to the channel

Great idea, ill check them out
Ok

Thanks for letting me know , ill definitely , looking to improving the sound
Saw it when it came out. Still one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Well, until Blair Witch Project anyway.
