    Good part of charcoal is no gas pipes sticking around the cooking area but not much benefits as the charcoal does not impart extra flavor nor be able to turn off... so if nobody orders, the charcoal will continue to burn and go to waste. Good effort to be special from other stalls though.

      I too have always wondered how cooking with charcoal is any different especially when cooking over a wok. Unlike say satay, the smoke will not be infused into the noodles. Anyone cares to explain?

      @@marktan8074 If the charcoal flavour infuses into the wok and changes wok hei then maybe got use, but I'm guessing only. You have to try it yourself and see if it makes a difference for you.

    Boring, every where in Singapore makanmania centre all the foods are the same. Toa Payoh I live there also have. =P

      @@YUMMIESTFoodHunter no need sorry lah, the local food sellers lack of creativities in food makings. My own views. This is why every times go makan centers always lost in minds what to eat.
