- What's better than studded winter tires? Snow tracks! This video has been filmed last year when the deep snow was abundant! But what a fun way to see how a track system for your 4x4 ( Your Jeep in that case ) can take you far on those unbeaten paths! This is the Nordtrack track system that can be adapted to a lot of vehicles but mostly 4x4! It's also available for the Mahindra Roxor! Two versions are available, 121'' or 136'' and installation in less than 1 hour on most 4 × 4 vehicles without modifications. This truck tracks are robust and made of ultra-resistant CHT-100 steel! Be careful if you go off-road alone, because the deeper you can go the deeper you can get stuck! A robust winch is recommended if your an adventurer!

This is so awesome that you can go in ultra-deep snow with those tracks! But remember that everything has its limits! Where would you go with those tracks for trucks?
The same place as where I air down😁😆😅🤣😂✋. I would go wherever I wanted though really. 1998 xj completely framed out gussets truss sleeved locked wj front brake upgrade 8.8" rear disc. So excited about getting snow this coming winter Washington is in for it.🤞
Car Question would these work on a 2wd?
@@nathanieljohnson4833 on the rear only. They need to be powered to the front if not they will just push snow and pile up
I love how he doesn't want to give up and he gets through everytime he's possibly can.Everything has it's limits like dude just said but Wow, impressive!
He gave up on the hill at 2:42, we never see him actually crest it and get past
Thank you for this. There aren't a lot of really high quality video of track conversions in the really deep stuff.
I love the intake sound
Used to think I wanted tracks for my suv till I saw this
Hmmm deep! Here's somthing deep! Finding affordable tracks for my jeep wrangler :)
There is only one question....price , why pretend to ignore it ?
They all need a composite V shaped plow, just enough to prevent high centering.
if you're high centering the tracks aren't floating you like tracks are supposed to.
'
four mattracks are so beautifully design on the snowy weather
Now the Jeep XJ can honestly claim to be built like a tank.
These should get me to my cabin in the Michigan UP! I’ll bring snowshoes as a backup. 😂
I wish I could afford these for my 04 Tahoe. They'd be sweet here in Alaska.
Interesting for relaxation
I didn't think they would struggle so much on flat ground
These would be badass on my hubby's 1977 superlifted F250 with a bored out 460!
A wedge shape plow would make you a leader and not a follower. Seems like someone had already carved a path before your two hit the trail. Great video!🇨🇦 thank you.
Disappointed to see that they still get stuck frequently.
When do tracks stick the nose, rotate forward, and end your outing
Tracks have their limits in snow
Notice how the video stops, when they get stuck lol
ahhh imagination of a drunk! Just for your personal note, any off-road vehicle has its limits, no matter how big they are one day you will get stuck with it! Simply because you are pushing too far :)
Tracks don't make it unstoppable...lol.. they just help, deeper lugs would help in the deep snow also...
@@CarQuestion these and any other track driven vehicle going thro deep deep snow look like they can 'belly out' just like wheelers driving thro a muddy hole....maybe theyre compressing the snow under the belly enough to 'hang em up' on such a large surface area under the vehicle and the tracks are unweighted enough and their lugs break traction with the loose surface cos theyre not applying enough weighted downforce to create crushed snow to get a good grip of to propel forward...i wonder if a wide belly track could be installed under the truck to take care of that or maybe try a wider set of tracks with aggressive lugs that will carry the vehicles weight better on the snow with reduced ground pressure....kinda like a piste beast...havent seen one of those get stuck, have you?
@@turtlezed Maybe a wedge shaped plow in front.
Omg this is incredible 😍 I would love to try them on my yukon denali 6.2L has more weight and alot more power i bet it would go damn near anywhere with a set of these on it, heck it already goes thru some deep snow/mud with my mastercraft courser mxt 33in tires on it....
Nobody asked
At all 😂
Tool
Sounds like a bunch of butthurt little bitches to me! Lol keyboard warriors sooo tuff at typing nonsense 🤣
The Yukon Denalis suck off-road. Get a real off roader with locking differentials and solid axles.
Where can you buy the tracks !?!?!?!

what about oerformance sand, rocks and mud grounds? and with foward wheel traction only?
Классные треки
What's up with you get it rippin
Not sure why but after watching several of these deep snow videos, for whatever reason and keep in mind that I've never tried either, it seems that the Mattracks seem to work better. I could be wrong.
Mattracks are the best but cost over $60K for a set.
For $60,000, I think I'll just wait till the snow melts and take the wife on an around the world cruise and still have a big pile of cash left over.
For $60K it’s more cost effective to just strap a pair of skidoos under your 4x4 lol.
What's the point your still getting stuck omg
Is there data on solid ice performance?
Are you guys running LSD or lockers? If lockers what minimum axle? 1 tons?
That’s fuckin awesome
Became tanks
How has consumption changed?
From what ive seen, putting tracks on a wheeled vehicle more than doubles fuel consumption. In heavy snow your mpgs will be down in the low single digits.
Imagine hitting this rut with a snowmobile.. People here complain about atv ruts. LOL
Can you legally drive this on public roads?
No
Still sinking like a rock. Take it from former Tank Battalion, you throw a track in that snow, and your listing them babies on Craigslist the second you get through the door that night. My Uncle Joe looks awesome but he shits his pants when he jumps up from his chair. Not everything that looks cool is better.
What a dumb comment
Good comment.
Sure wish I could find some of those craigslist listings.
2:40, could someone explain in simple terms, why this light car with such a large surface area contact with ground can't make it up the hill, but a SHERP would be able to no problem? The only thing better in snow than a SHERP is a snowmobile, or ski resort plows. Why?
it looks like it the tracks were digging down to the ground so it didnt have the best traction and it was going straight into really deep snow.
Yeah they need more surface area.
Price point lol Sherps are a design specific vehicle. Snow water . That Jeep was never intended to be a deep snow vehicle. Just enhances the Jeep that’s all for far cheaper than a 100k sherp
Different kind of snow that stuff looks like powder but if you're in a more wet snow you could be driving on top of 8 feet I hate powder snow can't even make a snowball
One thing I will say too, these particular tracks they have on do not have very large paddles. Snow and sand like large paddles usually.
А вы с какого танка сняли гусеницы
Almost not fair . lol
