This band has been approved by Ozzy himself. They played a private gig for him in Texas, during his taping of his new show where he travels around with his son Jack. He said it was a "Sabbath meets Chicago" sound. They asked Ozzy if he had any requests, to which Ozzy replied, "Sweet Leaf". Asked if he enjoyed listening to them, he said something like, "If I didn't, I would have left the room a long time ago." LOL
It's actually more Black Sabbath meets Oingo Boingo.
@@eudymaverickmentor actually Black Sabbath meets the "softer side" of Santana
@@Jacksabbath44 Pretty sure Santana doesn't have horns in the band.

Who is an old Black Sabbath fan, easily will approve this band. They are amazing! Very good work. Very good sound!
Can't get enough of these guys. They're awesome. Who could think of covering Black Sabbath with bongos and a horn section. All are excellent musicians, and the singer is great. Geezer, Ozzy, Tony, and Bill gots to be happy with this stuff. Nice.
Everyone is killing it. Could listen to this all night.
As an old school Black Sabbath fan I found this to be excellent work. It's a refreshing new twist on an old favorite tune and fantastic performance. Since this is the first time I've seen them I guess I'm now a new Brown Sabbath fan as well. Great job guys!
Old school motherfuckers represent!
Great arrangement for sure, but it does make you want to listen to the original
I discovered Black Sabbath relatively late in life...35.... I discovered Brownout a few years ago and I love their
arrangements! Great songs deserve great tribute!
they did a fairies wear boots thats better than this
dudes voice is so pure!
Ik hoop dat de mensheid beseft dat dit de beste muzikanten zijn die er ooit op deze aardkloot gelopen hebben ..... SUBLIEM
Lovely stuff. I love Sabbath and stumbled across this little gem. Made my day.
Big Sabbath fans big brown Sabbath fan love what you did with it.
These guys rock! The horns just fill this song out so much. The singer takes itcto the next level. Awesome guitar work. God it sounds like a seventies movie sound track. Wow
My favorite Sabbath tune!!
You guys are amazing!!!
So so good!!! Chills man!!
Man.
This realy captures the essence of what made Sabbath iconic.
Vocals are powerful.
Brass killing it.
Rest of the band, total backbone of the song
Old School.....love these guys!
Just love these guys, and I’m a 60 year young Black Sabbath fan. Love what you’re doing . When is your next tour in UK?? Make it soon . 😊👍🇬🇧
Outstanding!
The Leader store in Litchfield CT - bought a Sanyo boom box, Sabbath Vol. 4 & Band of Gypsies, live at the Fillmore on vinyl. Never turned back.
A hint of Black Sabbath but so much of The Brown Sabbath. What a great blend. Great Job you guys
Absolutely LOVE their work!! Great take away in Sabbath!!
Wow, great cover!
Love these guys, they sound awesome!
I love this band!
Brilliant!!!
awesome. thank you for always showing me something I would never see if it weren't for you all.
Massive!!! Love that Band!! 🤩🤩
I love these muchachos!
Mixing a horn section with the Sabbath sound is genius.
Boys from this band brown sabbath, must have real taste and soul of black sabbath, amazing cover. Thanks:)
This brilliant! I love Black Sabbath, thier one of my favourite bands, and this is just a great take on thier sound! More please!
The extra percussion is perfect for this
Great band great sound great everything
Gawd, I LOVE this band!!! I also like that Eastman "Airline" guitar!
incredible band very good performance
Freaking awesome af!!!
This is the fucking best thing i listened in last century
Wow, been into Sabbath since I was a kid, ( and I’m 55), first stuff I learned on guitar, after getting through the venturers and blues progressions and figuring out power chords etc. Nobody has come close to their sound since, even though the riffs and progressions are fairly simple. Although they are not satanic, the vibe is so unbelievably dark. Nobody has reproduced that darkness.
You guys are frickin amazing, I think Sabbath was maybe a little to dark on some songs. You guys bring some light into the darkness, and sounding just like Ozzy and having an awesome guitar , with professional musicians just elevates everything to a new level.
Stephen Ormsby Well said.
A Sabbath cover band made my day? Wow, these guys kick ASS.
Love it!!
You guys should bring this out to the east coast the whole band is amazing nice sound incredible vocals 👍🇺🇸
Wonderful!
Wonderfull! So good and clean sound of every instruments! And in singer we can find some of Lenny Kravitz, Robert Plant and many others great singers.
This is excellent, there's been some seriously good music on KEXP of late. Keep it up.
Exquisite 👌🏻
What you can say is it that this is one of the best bands to ever do a Sabbath song without a doubt" excellent job!!!!!!;🤑🤐😎😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 You can't clown the brown,
A great tribute to a great song.
Got my head bobbin' :O
Bravo ! 👏👏
Love some SABBATH black ,brown,
So Many good covers of Tony and Geez
And on to the next one... :)
Awesome
Snowblind was always so heavy when I would put the needle down on Vol IV
Amazing, I wish the lead guitarist's levels were a little higher for that solo riff in the middle!
Totally agree. In fact, KEXP; if you're listening - couldn't that be cleared up in 'post'?
It is a funk band, not a metal band, so the guitars have to be quieter on purpose. Just listen harder.
johnakni - 'Listen harder' is the best comment I've heard in years. #totallyagree
As someone who's always loved Sabbath but found Ozzy's voice, this is one hell of an improvement.
I dont a shit what anybody says ..... WHAT AN AWESOME TWIST. LOVE IT !!!! BAD ASS !!
MUCHO 🔨👇. CABOLLO BLANCO
Ozzy and Jack like it why wouldn't I ? They are on the show!!
Nice!
zappa-esque at times!
I see, the sound of horns mixed with distorted guitars!
Aufidius Bassus, other then the horns I really don’t see any similarities to Frank Zappa..
@@haggismcbagpipe2158 Oh,go eat some yellow snow! These guys kill it.
Stan Durround they are an awesome band, more like Chicago meets Black Sabbath then Zappaish lol.
Hell yes
NIIIIICE!
Exceptional
WOW.
kool , thanx
🎼🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Holy!
Dope
Fuck yeah!
That guitar sound makes me go cross eyed.....
HARD-JAZZ )))))
Afro Ozzy
LMAO
Great interpretation of Snowblind, which is not one of my favorite Sabbath tunes. It seems to really work well with this style. Especially appreciate the haunting feel of the vocals. nice
They sound like Black Sabbath crossed with Crow (they did Evil Woman before Sabbath and had the brass punches like this band did on their version of Fairies wear Boots) which really is CROW!!!!!!
Fuck that’s badass!!
😎
Brown Ac DC......please.
* *SUBSCRIBED!* * -Okay....I'm *HOOKED* on these guys.
Someone explain what that guitar is @ 5:17!!! It resembles a Rickenbacher, but not quite.
I like the looks of it.
Note: - I play a 1977 natural wood finish Guild S300A-D with factory stocked DiMarzio pickups. It *howls* thru a four speaker *tube driven* Fender amplifier.
2:04 Charlie shirt! I've got that one too
these guys are great . but what is a brownout ? every other house out of electricity ?
I this Cheech and Chong's band. These guys are great.
This is like sabbath at the Cheech n Chong rock fight.
Ozzy wishes he could sing this good
He could when he wasn't 80
Ozzy did sing this good, idiot! How old is Ozzy now? one day you will be an old ass Misfit 1973.
Motherfucking hell that's what Ozzy would sound like if he could sing!!!
tendervittles doobiestein
Ha ha good one. True too
🤔👌👌👌⚠️🇫🇮
Love these guys. The lead singer has a cool voice...better to listen to than Ozzy
All the notes are right but it seems devoid of its substance . The subtle drumming of Bill Ward makes really the difference .
almost better than Ozzy ?
Emmanuel Channel
I kinda hate to say it but I like some of their stuff with Alex on vocals better than Black Sabbath. And I've loved Sabbath since 1973 lol.
I like Ozzy's vocals better. This guy sing too well. : )
Too Much!
great singer; hate what the bassist is doing
I think the vocals are a touch too high, the lead guitar could be turned up one notch.
awesome !! ImI but the guitars sound a bit like toys r us guitars just a bit fake they need a bit of balls
Fome tu weá, me quedo con Bread Zeppelin
I´m sorry. No!
I wanted this to be good but, sorry.......the horns just don’t work.
Actually, the horns and the drums are what make this work for me. That drummer is sick.
nope.
The brass section is one of the worst things I've ever heard. Why are they even a thing?
Could do without the brass section
If he didn't exaggerate everything that would have been good.
This is amazing. But also, goddamn hipsters with their apple watches.
