My advice for people who want to rank fast is to never go solo. At least get one friend while queuing. I got dropped from Legend 3 to Epic 1 in 2 days. Have a reliable companion for support and carrying noob and arrogant teammates. Cuz which ever hero you pick, in the end it's all about teamplay.
I am main layla but i don't like systhem maches since it's very easy to push grand master a lot of nubs ruining maches it'd force you to grind with freinds because many nubs
I would recommend looking into roam heroes too :) There are a few meta roam heroes which provides more value in a game than some of the heroes here so ya

Depends on your playstyle bro. I reached myhtical honor in 1 week by playing esmeralda or silvanna either in exp lane or jungle. My tip for you is to max out your emblem. I have level 42 in assassin emblem as my highest and used it on esme and silvana because i got no choice. If i had higher level on my mage emblem i would use mage emblem. Well these two are mages but they also benefit from magic penetration from assassin emblem so i guess that will do. As exp lane, always cut the lane even when you die, that way you can gain experience as to the limits of your hero and how to avoid death. Your goal is to not die when cutting lanes so you can help your team. Then your next goal is to deny buff of your enemy jungler but not dying. Next tip is to ignore the enemy exp laner. Cut the lanes, deny jungles, kill enemy mage core mm then rinse and repeat. Do not,kill the enemy exp laner as you will waste all your skills, mana, and hp.
Next tip Do not push tower alone even when enemy exp laner is dead because most probably their jungler, mage or tank will come and you will die. So just do the tips i gave you. You will reach mythic but getting to glory is another story because you now need to know your pathing and map,awareness, skill cd, hero match ups, macro skills, micro skills and more.
