Which Netizens. It's been well received in Korea. Just like their last 2 releases. The album sold over 1 million (Circle chart) on the 1st day of release. 1.299 Mil the 1st week.
Lia taking off her sweater is generating static electricity which is causing the lightning that's shooting out and electrocuting the thing that was shooting them. Yeji's dalgona was an umbrella shape and was a nod to Squid Game in that it was the hardest shape to detach correctly and she did it while saving herself from the one bullet that got close. In the behind the scenes bits, they talked about how the concept here was that they were immortal so they could be fearless even in the face of all of these things happening and they definitely connected it to the message. The whole album is based on the girl's feelings even if they didn't write the songs and it shows. Even if you just react to the KMD music tomorrow, I also recommend checking out the None of My Business MV and the Kill Shot showcase performance. (But the amount of great ITZY content that has come out in the last week is nearly unfathomable, tbh.)
Totally agree with you comments that Cake captured the girls' humor and fun personalities. In their interview with Billboard, Ryujin mentioned the concept of the music video depicting "that main character that never dies" and in their Apple on-air interview, they also mentioned how it ties in with their album concept of "eating/killing your doubts like a piece of Cake" ...which is SUCH an ITZY message. I definitely feel KMD is their most cohesive album to date in terms of the song selection (that are all BOPS!), their messages all the while showing ITZYs growth as a group. Thanks for your reaction!
This song is sooo Itzy, kinda like a cousin of LOCO. Somehow the song and the MV reminds me a lot of Stray Kids' S Class. Anyway I enjoy this song so much! The lyrics are really fun and have a clear message that is easy to understand. I hope that in the future they release something close to the bet on me vibes.
What I loved about CAKE was how the girls showcased their confidence in doing things their own way, not caring about what haters say. Unfortunately they’ve been receiving harsh and undeserved criticism for a while now and I feel that CAKE was some kind of response to all that. I appreciate the video’s weirdness as it comes off so genuine and I love how clever the lyrics are: “Indifference is better sometimes”, “You can't make everyone happy”, “Show some respect, I do me you do you”, “My life is mine in the end” etc. ITZY definitely deserve more love and appreciation
Cake has become my absolute favorite ITZY title track!! I love the energy of it, plus there's something about parts of it that feel very 2nd gen kpop to me in a way I can't really describe
While I love None Of Your Business and CAKE, Bet On Me was ITZY's soty for me. It kinda hit me on a personal level. so I get it if others don't agree with me.
Hey, PD! Hope you're doing well. Obviously, you need to take time off to enjoy the holidays. But I hope when you come back, you can react to ITZY's new comeback, and all the MVs therein. I'm pretty curious about what you think of all of it ( Blossom, Born to Be, Crown on My Head, Run Away, Mine, Yet but, Mr. Vampire, and the title track Untouchable which drops 1/8.) Looking forward to your analyses/opinions.
Im so confused how some of the comments are 3 months old when this video was uploaded on Tuesday and how and why you just dropped like 50 Videos in the past two days 😭😭
I loved this song and album very much. I still think Bet On Me is my favorite on this album. Kill Shot just kicks so much ass! I really hope they'll do a concept like Kill Shot for a future comeback.
Thanks zo you I can appreciate it more. Because the song itself is somewhat unbearable for me, and I also really don't like the MV. It just feels off 🫤
Cake is so underrated. I do not know why netizens do not like this. It is a fucking bop.

all i know is ppl doesn't really liked cake and sneakers but both are my favorites 😂
CAKE IS A BOP!
The only reason is, the sounds and the instruments like what you've heard in dalla dalla and wannabe were slowly fading, i think!!

Probably they were private just for patreon months ago but then made public two days ago all in a big clump?
I think Lia’s fall is directly referring to Wonyoung crashing on a plane’s wing meme
Been waiting for your reaction on this!! finally it's here 🎉 we'll share it with my fellow midZy 🫶🏻
I loved this song and album very much. I still think Bet On Me is my favorite on this album. Kill Shot just kicks so much ass! I really hope they'll do a concept like Kill Shot for a future comeback.

They released this AFTER KARD’s Cake and god…it just did them a disservice cus itzy version is so bad and infantile compared to KARDs
