The Sony has VERY clean audio and can be adjusted in app... but it also costs $249-$300. The Soundcore has great audio but is a little more on the bass side, again its adjustable in app, at$70 with very good noise cancelling, its worth it.
@@SterlingW8 i compare my Q30 to akg k550/pioneer hdj2000/focal listen and yamaha hph-200 .the q30 work very well the sound is very comparable and pleasant .stock out of the box q30 is on the bass side so you really need to install the app soundcore and modify Equaliser, put less sub bass and up the midle and high frequency try with your preference. for 60euro on amazon its very very good deal.
I don't have the Sony, but I have the Bose QC 35 II's and the Soundcore Life Q30's and the Soundcore sounds better by a long shot. I customised the EQ on both to get the best sound and no matter what I did with the Bose they couldn't compete. The Bose does have better noise cancelling, but it's not enough to make me want to use them over the Soundcore. The Soundcore sound much more like the original recordings and give me more enjoyment while the Bose sound sloppy and uninspiring. After listening to Oluvsgadgets comparison between the Sony and Soundcore, I would choose the Soundcore over the Sony too. When you factor in the price difference, then it's an easy decision.
How do you score q30 to sony in 1-10 rating in term of sounds, anc, apps & build quality?
If sony was a 10, then the q30 is a solid 7.3 in my opinion.
@@SterlingW8 more than enough score for me to get my hand on this soon. This is my first BT headphone and 3rd product from Soundcore 😁👍
