- It's the anniversary of the infamous Kent State massacre, when the National Guard opened fire on students at an anti-war march.
54 years later, politicians and administrators are threatening similar force on those setting up tents to protest the Gaza genocide.
The violent response pretends that the students were disturbing the peace when, in reality, the students were peacefully disturbing the war.
Talking about decapitation by guillotine or ax - your choice. The Noahide laws were already adopted by the U.S. Congress.

I'm not an American, but simply going by logic, if they're paying for their kid's education, they have the right to be on that campus as well protesting with their children. After all, it's their tax money paying for the genocide, so it's something to think about.
Many adults have been helping the students.They bring food, water, blankets and tents.They show up to bear witness, and to form a human barricade against police aggression. Some are parents, many are not. There was a video about one father in California who went on campus to support his daughter. A wonderful man. And he's not alone.
I've seen parents and faculty interviewed on scene.
There were definitely some adults protesting Vietnam. Even some of the Vietnam vets became protesters later. Kent State happened on a college campus so was mainly students protesting....but you also gotta remember there was also no Internet or cellphone cameras or social media back then so people got all their news from MSM, which just like now is subsidized by military-industrial complex.
So all the real sh*t was not being shown. Just what defense contractors and war hawks in the gov't who owned a lot of shares of stock in defense industry corporations allowed to be shown.
At least now people of all ages can get the truth from the alternative media. If they choose to open their eyes and ears

Remember the May 15th, 1970 Jackson State massacre too. Two students were killed, and 12 more were wounded by police gunfire during "the 28-second fusillade from police officers was an unreasonable, unjustified overreaction.... A broad barrage of gunfire in response to reported and unconfirmed sniper fire is never warranted." Two students were cleaning blackboard chalk erasers by slapping them together next to an open 2nd floor classroom window, and panicking State and local police below thought the chalk dust was sniper fire, so they said later.

@@ChucklesMcGurk don't you think most of them have arms at home, it's USA bruh, almost everybody has a gun at home. those students didn't need to bring weapons to campus since thy thought they were safe, little did they know, they got attacked by a mob and the police was so near yet they chose to do nothing until the attack was done then they came to pick up what's left, that shows you the police isn't the good guy in this story.
We have to peacefully protest until we can't. Then the guns come out and it's all down hill. And then nobody is right. Only those who are left.

I am 33 and I was 16 when I heard it for the first time... I recalled it again when I saw the news the other day about the Columbia University... Oh, btw, am from the other side of the world... Even the Vietnamese soldiers who had American soldiers as prisoners showed the prisoners videos of what's happening in America. Of the wounded students only 2 are actually paralyzed from the waist down, paraplegic. A girl who cried screaming on one knee with her arms stretched out, isn't old enough to attend college. I was almost 4 years old in 1970.
Back then America look like it was actually falling apart as a great and powerful nation in the world. In the 1960s and the 1970s was actually sheer chaos, gloomy, and they actually trying to make us forget about what happened back then.

We, in the Philippines, will always remember students, though we do not their names, who died and sacrificed for the end of war. We stand in solidarity with them to this date for they have made our planet a more peaceful place. Today, it seems that the causes of war have not be removed and the students of the US and other nations are up in protest. Again, we stand in solidarity with them. End the war! End competition that leads to war. End the arms race! Let trade and commerce grow in cooperation with each other! Let the multi-polar world grow! Peace, justice, prosperity and security for all!
I didn't know the history when that last happened in the USA, but I recognized the handling of the protests from elsewhere, and I will not be surprised if history repeated itself.

I was 19 then...a Canadian. Attended many anti war gatherings up here. Living in southern Ontario met many new friends Americans coming here that could not stomach the very notion of murdering other human beings because some balding fat old rich guy told them it was their duty.

Whether it's the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War, South African Apartheid, the Iraq War or the current genocide of the Palestinians, it's fascinating how often students are at the forefront of all these historical events, what is later referred to as "the right side of history", while the media and political elites are on the wrong side of history, and yet we never learn.
I used to think it would've been fine to send the national guard. I was kinda on the fence about it. This video completely changed my mind. Thank you.
