For the OG arteezy fans, they know he was the best midlaner during his prime. This dude came and destroyed s4, dendi, and the best chinese midlaners. Don't know why he shifted to carry, he is best suited as a midlaner. His aggressive, risky playstyle could best suit his team. I feel like as a carry, he is taking way too much risks on farming that extra wave and gets caught farming alone all the time

Arteezy mentioned before that midlaners have to get used to the patch, read the patch-related shit for midlaners. He no longer wanted those, that's why he switched to carry. Carry plays the same dimension all the time, farm efficiently and safely. Except that the safely part is not reflective to his game most of the time xD

9:59 what does his ult have to do with "42" or "1.2"? Euls doesn't reduce cast time it just sends someone up in the air for 2.5 seconds and you judge when to cast Ult off that. Requiem is 1.67 cast, and Euls is 2.5, sooo 2.5 - 1.67 = 0.83
Kaya yasha gives cast time reduction of 25% so he's asking to properly time with euls
@@NAGOSKY oops I was looking at the DotA2 wiki and they didn’t update Kaya Yasha yet, so I didn’t see the cast speed reduction. Thanks for pointing that out.

@@mud123blast damn i missed that part in the patch notes, relied on the Wiki and they didn update it yet. so with Kaya Yasha it's reduced from 1.67sec to 1.25sec, and with 25 talents it's further reduced to 0.75sec cast for Requiem. Or 1.67 down to 1sec with 25 talent, but no Kaya Yasha.
edit: new patch 7.36c changed 25 talent to 30% cast speed so i guess the new shortest Requiem cast is 0.88 seconds, hopefully my math is correct
one think i dont understand about this new skill is, if you lose 5 souls by the end of the effect, why dont they ignore this condition if you killed 5 units during the spell duration? its looks super silly to use the skill and kill 20 creeps in a camp and still lose the souls. It just makes me wonder if the people that make these changes have ever played the game :)

no, because you dont need more mana pool. you need regen or arcanes to constantly use razes. Treads is better if you are hitting, because then you get more razes before youre out of mana. If youre using magic damage however, you'll be using razes more often than if youre going damage.
It is better. Arcanes isn't needed for magic dmg build and Euls is literally 2014 shadowfiend build. You're better off rushing blink into kaya&yasha. You don't need to be ontop of them to ult like this is 2014 because your ult is used for the fear. You're going to cast 3 razes after your ult and then start right clicking the rest of the teamfight and maybe throw out one more raze. You don't even need arcanes for refresher.
Why his timing for eul + ult is so bad tho? i was expecting him to be able to pull that better since ive seen so many ancient player can do that with no problem
to be fair, they constantly changing the timing on the ulti and eul and now there is Kaya/Yasha that improve timing. It is going to take anyone a bit if they havent touch that hero in a long time

I agree that this new skill is trash, and why its not have different animation for arcana? Typical Valve…
It could use a buff, not mega trash tho. I played one game of SF safelane after I randomed it and got on a 6-0-1 by like 15 min streak before I gave up a death. What I wish I did was use the skill way more than right before I died, because I thought activating it would burn the extra souls I was getting. Idk what happens if you go low souls if you spammed it, but it will let you get back to 23 if you were 3-0 and activated it, it's like your new upper cap until you give up a death. Not terrible to max it first or second tbh, depends on the game. It made more sense for pos 1 SF because of camp availibility, I'll say.
