How to make persimmon jam

  • Hello everyone, no farming interviews today. Just a lil' video of me and my mum making persimmon jam.
    Recipe:
    4.5kg of peeled persimmons
    2cups of raw sugar
    1 vanilla bean
    1tsp vanilla bean paste
    Juice from 1 whole lemon
    Peal your persimmons, then combine all ingredients into a pot. Stir over low heat.
    (If you want your jam to be thick you can add some gelatin leaves)
    Don't overcook it, just until it thickens. Then pour into sterilized jars and that's it! :)
