Hi professor! can you do subphylum Chelicerata next please? My research project is about spiders and I kinda want to learn more about them and their taxonomy more as well.
I recognized Blattodea (Cockroaches and I assume termites too), Hemiptera (the true bugs like stink bugs or Cicadas), Hymenoptera (Ants, parasitic wasps, eusocial wasps, solitary bees & eusocial bees), Lepidoptera (moths, including all butterflies), Diptera (flies & mosquitoes) & Coleoptera (beetles). I know of a lot of other insects but don't know exactly their taxonomic order, perhaps family but not the order. Are praying mantids in Mantodea?
Can you explain "invasion biology" in your own unique way i know you're no botanical horticulturalist but you're something better you're a true biologist.
these creatures are horrific and fascinating at the same time
just consistently enamored by all creatures diversity
@@Cryatrix almost as if they were intelligently designed....by no one lol
I find that the most mind boggling creatures exist in water habitats, much more so than insects and other terrestrial organisms
Love the videos, Professor Dave. I can feel my brain getting wrinklier by the second.
Hey Dave. Any response or reaction to Jeran and Witsit agreeing that there is a 24 hour sun in Antarctica?? It a glorious watch.
Thanks for the 100% educational video.
I know ppl can be annoying, but there are more ppl who appreciate educated science communicators.
Dave is so knowledgeable about so many things, apparently including taxonomy! I'm legit jealous!
You should put together an entomology playlist
Oh damn baby! We're so close now to having the first of many videos on specifically the diversity of flying insects!
