I just want to thank you so much for posting this video. I had the same problem with this exact model, and faced many difficulties identifying its correct chip. Not only, you mentioned the correct chip reference, (which was different from what a US vendor wrote me !), but you also showed how to replace it.Thanks for sharing your know-how.Christophe (also president of the Repair café in Annecy, France, a non profit organization repairing free of charge household appliances)

Je profite de ton message pour te demander si tu avais déjà essayé de changer le ventilateur de ce type de projecteur pour tenter d'en diminuer le bruit ? (par exemple avec un ventilateur de qualité comme un Noctua).

Thanks for great video. I have same projector and same problem of dots. I opened it did exactly like you explained but when i assembled it back the projector is always orange light on power standby mode wont power on. No fan spinning. Please help
Hi. Just to make everything clear... Did you replace the chip or just clean all parts and put it back together?

Dear @raotech , could you tell us which component have you soldered? I have followed all the steps except for the soldering, and now I'm not able to power on the device anymore. Please help me! Best regards.
You don't need to solder anything, I think he just used the solder to bypass the lamp door micro switch to enable him to power up the projector without the top cover.
How to fix when its focus on all sides but not in centre ? Can u heap please .

Hello there. Thanks for the videos. I have a nec np115 projector. At first there were only dots. Later the screen became full of noise in vertical lines. I changed the dmd with a new one. And yet, still the same problem. No colors distorted black and white image. Distoretd menus. Thanks in advance for helping me solve the problem.
