Hey Coggo bud. Thank you. Later next year, we plan to do a " how to" series on how I build a wooden creel. Hopefully, everyone will find that interesting too.🤞 All the very best, bud.😁👍
Hi John. Your very welcome indeed. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Later down the line ( once we can afford more creels) I intend to do a step by step creel making series, just to show the skill, time and cost that goes just making one creel. I really hope that folks would find that interesting. 🤞🤣🤣🤣 Stay tuned for Saturday's vlog pal...its a cracker.😍😉👍 Have a great week ahead. All the best. Baz.😉👍
Thank you Anne.....its any where between 15 to 18hrs per creel....and more if I had to make the frames from scratch!😲 Glad you enjoyed the special edition. 😉👍 Have a great weekend 😉👍
Beautiful aerial shots of Dunbar.. very technical.. wow so much equipment to assemble a creel.. very clever Barry. Keep up the fishing traditions and bag yourself lots of lobster! (Claire from Fishermen's Mission)
Hi Anne, I hope your well hun. Yeah, a lot of hrs go into making just one creel, and a lot of money. We shall be making a wee series on how to build a creel, step by step....but that will be a good bit down the line, after the boats launched and I get working....and basically more cash in!😂😂😂😂😂😂😉👍 Glad you enjoyed this episode hun. All the best Baz xxx
Not bad Barry, a few hundred more and I think you will get the hang of it. Love to bring you one of mine just to see how they compare. Maybe one day. Good luck mate.
Hi Darius. Glad you enjoyed the vlog. If you liked that one, I'm just about to start a back to basic creel making series of vlogs.😁👌 And yes, some of the guys buy them fully made, but I believe the waiting list for them, is VERY long.😂😂😂 I hope that answers your question. All the best. Baz.😉👍
Sorry for the very late Reply Neil, apologies...UA-cam never informed me, that I had this comment. I'm glad you didn't miss it then bud.😂😂😂😉👍 yes, it does take a while to knock up a creel, and the one, very poorly described by me!😂😂😂😂 is the easier of the bunch. Our Dunbar men, still make the traditional wooden parlour creel, which takes even longer, as you also have to make the base, and frames....not an easy task. Thank you for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the episode. All the best bud Baz.😉👍
Hi Ben, Thank you for your comment. That's in the future plans pal....but unfortunately, I'm skint!...and it will be a wee while before I can get the funds to buy gear. So if you can wait....we shall be doing a step, by step set of video's pal. Sorry i can't be much immediate help.😉👍 Don't worry, your not the only that he asked either.😉👍 All the best. Baz
Baz that was so good to see thanks heaps, always wondered how they were made. Coggo

Great to see how much work goes into a creel. That’s a lot of work. Do fishermen also buy them fully made up?

I was going to give this one a miss, glad I didn't, never knew how much work went into making just one, never mind a boat full.
