Imo, you should do a review of robot mode, and cut to a review of alt mode. Skip the transformation, but give us the rundown in both modes. I'd LOVE to get your thoughts on Transformers releases.
Personally I would enjoy seeing what transformers you own/continue to purchase at the very least through like community posts even, it would be fun to see you review them but I think it’s fair if you don’t think it’s worth the lesser views. @AnthonysCustoms to be honest, I don't know specifics, but I think it's things like how small various pieces can be and how the official products need to be of a certain durability to be sold as toys but this may be more of a target market thing more than actual laws. When I wrote the comment, I believe I may have been thinking about the fact hasbro can't paint certain types of plastics (nylon I think, or at least derivatives of it) due to safety issues in regards to flaking
For the QOTD - if there is an official release and it is for a property I love, I'd buy it. Recently though, IP owners are either making slop (with super expensive prices) or not making any, in these cases, I'm buying 3rd party (these IP owners are getting complacent and/or just keeps screwing up their customers).
Third party figures is fine, imo. If the official version is subpar, doesnt exist or sold out everywhere then spend your hard earned money in what you believe is the best choice
Maybe you could do some kind of middle ground, review the robot mode and then throw up some pictures or a slideshow of the vehicle mode and mention it briefly. No need to show off the transformation or go as in-depth as the robot mode
Glad you’re getting into this line Anthony. Top notch 3rd party company. They surely have their short comings in some releases but overall i couldn’t be happier. Ive had alot of mine for years and minus the dust build up the V Chrome holds over surprisingly well even after moving into my new house. Enjoy em bud these are the closest thing well ever get to the real McCoy and they are made excellently. Silver bolt and Depth Charge up next and lord be good RAMPAGE soon after!
I'd love to see more transformers reviews from you, just skip the transformation part and show the alt mode with some comments here and there regarding if the transformation was enjoyable or difficult.
❤Yes! Great to see you review TransArt. This Dinobot 2 looks so good. I also really like their new Fuzors Silverbolt, even if he's too shiny, other than that he looks perfect! My next TA purchase will be TM Rattrap, though. About you doing more Transformers reviews, I think it could be a good idea to review both modes but not showing the transformation, that way you don't spend more time filming the process and we can see both modes. BUT I'd still be down for robot mode only reviews. That's also a good option so you optimize your time and like you said, us TF fans have other specialized channels for the transformation. In that regard, a review of that SS86 Optimus from you would be cool.

Dinobot is definitely my favorite character from the series, as for the review keep doing just the robot form but a picture of it transformed would be nice🤷🏽♂️ i mean we could always look it up and see for ourselves but hey! Picking up the TransArt version over the Black Mamba version is a wise choice, since that BM version is riddled with many problems 😂 The only real letdown release from TransArt is probably the Quickstrike 😅
Can you do a separate review of the dinosaur mode? We don’t need the transforming bit. But interested in the articulations in animal mode. It is a bit of money for illegal product. Are those metal parts in the middle, crotch area? Or just good looking plastics? I got a “third party “ Optimus for $85 or $100. That was a big and solid figure that would cost $200 plus from Hasbro. But Optimus is more popular than Dinobot; so, there are more illegal options. Question - Customs would confiscate fake Gucci or Chanel bags. But since these are not pretending to be Transformers even if they are stealing the trademark looks and designs, they will not be raided?
That ss86 Optimus is a centerpiece among my main line tf figure, obv not when compared to masterpiece display. Even that figure execute some parts better than their abysmal MP44 Optimus. But I'm still not sure about the price, considering you get twice a figure his size in the same class years ago (commander jetfire, sky link etc). It's still Hasbro product in the end, smh.
I've got most of these and I've been really impressed with them as well. I've heard people complain about the lack of ab crunch but most ab crunches on Transformers figures look atrocious when in use anyway.
Transart was my first foray into 3rd party TF because like you im pretty sure if Takara ever gets to the TM1+2 designs ill be an old man. They really knock it out of the park i have Ravage, Tarantulas, and Quickstrike and i love them but i will agree that the QR code instructions have got to go. That being said there Depthcharge is my most anticipated figure rn, i hope after they finish the show’s cast they just start doing MP styled figures for the toy only characters cause i would do unspeakable things for a TM2 Scourge and Ramulus.
If full reviews of Transformer figures aren't worth it, maybe do character roundups? Then you can talk about/show off things like the different Optimus Primes that you have/had, which ones you've kept, best robot and best vehicle figures, and which ones had gimmicks and features (or dealbreaking flaws) that stood out to you that you found worth collecting, worth passing, or just being noteworthy so someone else might want to build their collection around your experience and advice.
I’d be interested in seeing the alt-mode articulation for transformer toys; but you can either skip or time-lapse the transformation so it only lasts a few seconds. As for 3rd party figures, I wish I could enjoy them as much as you do, because there’s really great ones out there. But for me, collecting official merch is part of the appeal
I felt that way until the you companies became corporate trash factories and stopped caring about the products and customers. Might as well enjoy my collectibles regardless of who makes them
I would review both forms of Transforming figures. Just cut out the Transformation part and tell the audience if it was good or bad. That way you have 2 figures to talk about.
I have 3rd party Transformers, Gundam models, and figuarts, and I have no problems buying them when its something that either the big companies choose not to make or did make it, but did a poor job.
TM2 Dinobot has half (?) of Rampage's/Hannibal Lecter King Crab dude's Spark in his chest compartment, and can crush it with pure/raw energon crystals to torture Rampage and keep him from getting overly uppity. Not completely sure why there's blue _and_ red stickers though (unless purely for visuals/show accuracy). I like these figures/things-by-others when they're either adding onto something existing or filing in gaps that the normal providers are leaving behind for whatever reason. The deluge of Masterpiece-like not-Megatrons back in the day spurred _and_ brought about MP-36, for better or worse. I'm less receptive to the ones that take something pre-existing and just put out their own copy, whether straight KO or bigger-plus-better-paint/moulding fixes/what have you.
the thing is that if i have to both then i wont be reviewing any because of the time it takes and the negative impact on the channel. so the question really is, is nothing better than just reviewing the robot mode?
Good to know. We'll see. A lot of little are saying the "action figure" review of robot mode is a good idea. Others are telling me it needs to have both modes. I'm not sure either is good for the channel thanks to the stupid algorithm. Having to worry about view count primarily sucks
thats my mentality towards it. better than not reviewing them at all and im guessing a good portion of my audience is more interested in the action figure aspect rather than the transforming aspect. idk.
@@AnthonysCustoms I think reviewing both modes while only giving a brief overview of the transformation is more effective than reviewing just one mode, since you don't need to record the whole transformation process. But then again, it's just my opinion 🤷♂️
Please do Transformers reviews. Bot mode if you'd limit yourself to one mode, yes... the bots are the most like other action figures. You could also cut out the transformation sequence and simply, quickly review the alt mode as well. Especially if they're bestial or turn into something with articulation rather than just being a brick of a vehicle. For QOTD... agreed, if a 3rd party maker creates a figure first party isn't making (or they make it better) I'm happy to buy it.
Yeah! More Transart love! Dinobot is objectively their best work. Their worst probably being quickstrike. My personal favorite is tarantulas. It’s not flawless but that design goes so hard. Fair warning TM2 cheetor is very hollow. It looks great but it definitely feels cheap. And I know you probably are obligated to plug BBTS but I get them all from Show z store. They are in China but shipping is built into the price. Dinobot is 120 shipped so it’s a good saving
I just can't speak for other trailers. It's not that I'm not allowed or something. I don't know them so i can't vouch for them. I think tarantulas looks so good. I don't really care about them feeling cheap if they look good and function so cheetor will be fine for me
@ totally understand the retailer thing. All the Transart stuff looks really great and I’d say they are all worth the money for sure. Dinobot just really feels like the most thought out one.
@ yeah, he is great! I got the most recent version. Apparently there have been 3 runs and the second run was made with translucent plastic and didn’t hold up well. I can’t help but compare them all to their original toys and while primal is a step up, it’s not the same level as dinobot, or rattrap. If you’re looking for other 3p beastwars masterpiece things there is metagate, they made a terrorsaur, but the head looks funky, at least to me. Then there is Trojan horse - th-01 hurricane which is Waspinator reimagined as a helicopter. I heard it’s really finicky but I think I may still pick it up eventually. they have shown a dinobot as a minesweeper truck that I think looks really badass but with these 3p companies you never know if it’ll get released or not

I actually had 86 Optimus in my hands as you pulled him up. He's OK. Nothing spectacular, I have better for a lesser partscount (Magic Square's Legends Optimus 2.0). Deluxe G1 Optimus is the better bang for your buck and is part of the reason I got the commander (mostly to catelogue parts counts and weight; Optimus is now the second lightest commander package, just above Ultra Magnus).
Personally glad you come around to 3P figures... I am in the best looking, best functioning representative of my favourite characters on my own display. Now then...my next question to you would be should the company that owns the IP makes the same figure but done with less care and looks less pleasing or other issues as it so often happens... will you get rid of this one and go with official product? 🤔
@AnthonyCustoms Look up Emgo's Just Transform It videos , very comprehensive transformation tutorial vids. Currently he doesnt have a video on this figure , but he will eventually get around to it. There are are already several videos already out there on this figure and its transformation , I just really happen to like his Just Transform it series.

I have all Beast Wars from TransArt, I think they are the best representations of the characters, But it mixes great engineering and some diecast pieces with crappy plastic... so, for the price I don't complain but I wish they were even better quality on that section. Missing just 2 to finish the Maximals line! Tiger hawk and Depthcharge! I wonder how they would look with a wash... That will definitely improve them! just a little
I'd recommend skipping TA's Blackarachnia, if you like actually transforming your TFs. Some of its joints are also really loose, and the magnet holding her (literal) breastplate on only works with wishful thinking. I was very disappointed, especially with how pleased I was with the other TA figure I bought, Rattrap. That one is great.
Breh i liked your reviews of transformers i always waited for one when you did review one. They were nice, the transformation part its alright that cut to the alt mode. I like youre reviews too and transformers would be great also because i know you are indeed a fan too x3
I mainly buy 3rd party legends scale. I have a few one offs of larger scale like that black arachnia that came out last year. If I did collect MP scale, I would get 3rd party based on the fact Takara is slow to come out with new bots or update older ones. You really don't have a choice if you want to complete the line up, like how Takara just came out with Iron Hide, who is one of the main Autobots.
The transformation is not that bad. The other 3P Dinobot 2 is a nightmare. I’m a Transformers fan and collector (my number one collection) and your channel is not a Transformers reviews channel (my observation), but do what you want (it’s your channel and do what’s best for it). Since you don’t do them often, why not do them completely? This figure is amazing. You should get TransArt Megatron; another solid figure from them. That SS86 OP is a very good figure. I collect Hasbro officials (not MP scale) and the best 3P available. My Transformers collection is every Decepticon and 25% of the Autobots.
I grew up with Beast Wars, but the majority of my toys were transmetal. These are what hit my nostalgia the hardest. With reviews, maybe split the baby? Do it like a 2 figure review, skip the transformation but comment on it with the alt mode. I personally love and support 3rd party. Especially transformers, and I think Hasbro recognizes this, they keep me interested in the property and give me figures Hasbro wont or cant where otherwise I probably would have moved on. The only question is the fit and finish, but theyre not really KOs and I think most are quality for the cost. Though you can get the odd horror story of a complete piece of junk or company just taking your money and running. I have seen this figure break and fall apart during transformation though.

Here's a question for you Anthony. Say that there's a hypothetical TM2 Dinobot figure that has better aesthetic and articulation if ever so slightly (due to it not having to transform). How much would it need to cost for you to give it the same final rating as this Transart version?
@AnthonysCustoms This one is super easy to transform, very few moving parts and you end up with a fantastic (and very big) dinosaur, takes a little to pose but you can without the tail touching the ground 😁
Just robot mode is fine. Transformations for leader and above tier transformers takes forever and can easily break parts. I only transform mine once at most
Hi Anthony. Just to let you know, it's not this figure that has the really bad transformation. it's another company that has done the same character. The 3rd party company is called Black Mamba and the figure is called Dinosaur Warrior. I've seen Jobby the Hong do a transforamtion and it is atrotious. I think it is that one people are saying is really bad. Not your one. The one you have is the better transformation process. Look up Jobby the Hong. Btw, if you should want to try reviewing your transformers, just cut out the transformation process. As you know already, that will add more time to your videos and it takes the pressure off having to transform it in front of a camera. Also, if you've got transformers from the past, you are bound to find a review and transformation of that figure out there already.

It's funny because I've watched the whole series many times so it's in my memory somewhere. Just didn't come forward. I think it's one of the best cartoon series to rewatch as an adult
Never been a big fan of the Dinobot II's design, so this one isn't for me. As for the robot mode reviews, I don't mind, since I gather my information on Transformers elsewhere, but I'm always interested in what you have to say, so if you do them, I'll watch. Also, I would like you to do a review on the SS86 Optimus Prime, since I do have mine and I would enjoy knowing your opinion on the figure. I like it very much in terms of design but he feels so stiff in terms of articulations, like everything is there but the proportions and general placement of the articulation makes him look not very dynamic when posed, in my opinion. You may already be aware of it, but most of the copies out right now also have their heels reversed, where the left heel is mounted on the right foot and vice versa. I think the batches BBTS have recieved all had the heels reversed. Not a gigantic deal since it's not really noticeable and can be switched back, but still noteworthy. Finally, I would very much advise you to read a bit from people who already bought some of Transart products in case you want to jump on that train, because I remember them being somewhat hit or miss. For example, their first release of Transmetals Tarantulas had a problem where the hinges on the base of the spider legs are prone to cracking, so please be careful before buying since these aren't cheap. I can provide some help if needed so if you have questions on specific releases, do ask !

Two TM2 Dinobots came out at the same time, and this one has the less frustrating transformation. Had it come with instructions, it may not have been so bad. The qr code does NOT work in the US, so there are no instructions. My biggest issue is that he's too big. I have the Perfect Effect Optimal Optimus and TM2 Megatron, and he's half an inch bigger than them. I wish he was the same size as normal Dinobot. Granted, that's an issue with different companies and weird scaling in the show.
@AnthonysCustoms Yeah, Beast Gorilla and Metal Dragon are half an inch to an inch shorter than this Dinobot. I was planning on having them displayed together like in the last episode, but I have to keep Dinobot in a crouching position. He should be significantly shorter than either of those two. Also, the crotch panel is made to flip up to get waist articulation.
I prefer Transforming Transformers but I keep them in Robot mode so I guess it doesn’t matter in the end lol. Besides, there’s enough TF Review channels out there (Emgo/Patriot Prime) and they are 10000000% Transformers exclusive channels. So yeah, doesn’t bother me that you only do Robot mode. For example I have several TF most recently 86 Commander Prime and he’s great.. Transformed his once and he had real good engineering…. He he’s staying in Robot mode. QOTD: 3rd Party/Bootlegs don’t bother me. For example, CT Toys is the newest and seriously, the best Bootleg company out there. Their Mafex bootlegs are excellent and their Agent Venom is incredible. Demonical Fit/Kong is often better than SHF. So yeah.. they don’t matter to me at all. Especially in a shitty economy or figures that are sold out (example CT with brown suit Wolverine.)

Dude you bought a transforming Transformer for $165 and didn't show his transformation, didn't show his altmod. L M a 0 its 3\10 rewiev. As a transformers collector I'm a little shocked : imagine someone rewiev, like, Mafex 131 Gambit, a really badass fig and not showing his accessories, his all articulation. If you are so unrespectable to the Transformers, then review action trash like YoloPark\Threezero.

The problem is having to transform them while filming/shooting. That's what kills the amount of time for these guys.
@ if you’re looking at mainline stuff they would be quick transformations, like 2-3 mins. But yeah MP scale 3P stuff takes a while.

I've almost caved on the MP Beast Wars figures numerous times because they'll fit in well with most 1/12 or similar size figures.
They're great. Do it. You'll be happy you did

At least this wasn’t the Black Mamba version of this particular figure. The only thing fun about that figure was the reviews.

TM2 Dinobot has half (?) of Rampage's/Hannibal Lecter King Crab dude's Spark in his chest compartment, and can crush it with pure/raw energon crystals to torture Rampage and keep him from getting overly uppity. Not completely sure why there's blue _and_ red stickers though (unless purely for visuals/show accuracy).
I like these figures/things-by-others when they're either adding onto something existing or filing in gaps that the normal providers are leaving behind for whatever reason. The deluge of Masterpiece-like not-Megatrons back in the day spurred _and_ brought about MP-36, for better or worse.
I'm less receptive to the ones that take something pre-existing and just put out their own copy, whether straight KO or bigger-plus-better-paint/moulding fixes/what have you.
I would really like to see you look at some mainline transformers, just to compare its value to other hasbro products

the thing is that if i have to both then i wont be reviewing any because of the time it takes and the negative impact on the channel. so the question really is, is nothing better than just reviewing the robot mode?

Good to know. We'll see. A lot of little are saying the "action figure" review of robot mode is a good idea. Others are telling me it needs to have both modes. I'm not sure either is good for the channel thanks to the stupid algorithm. Having to worry about view count primarily sucks
Im down for more transformer reviews. Even if you dont do alt modes. Given at the end of the day i only care about how good robot mode is.
thats my mentality towards it. better than not reviewing them at all and im guessing a good portion of my audience is more interested in the action figure aspect rather than the transforming aspect. idk.
@@AnthonysCustoms I think reviewing both modes while only giving a brief overview of the transformation is more effective than reviewing just one mode, since you don't need to record the whole transformation process. But then again, it's just my opinion 🤷♂️

Please do Transformers reviews. Bot mode if you'd limit yourself to one mode, yes... the bots are the most like other action figures. You could also cut out the transformation sequence and simply, quickly review the alt mode as well. Especially if they're bestial or turn into something with articulation rather than just being a brick of a vehicle. For QOTD... agreed, if a 3rd party maker creates a figure first party isn't making (or they make it better) I'm happy to buy it.
Yeah! More Transart love! Dinobot is objectively their best work. Their worst probably being quickstrike. My personal favorite is tarantulas. It’s not flawless but that design goes so hard.
Fair warning TM2 cheetor is very hollow. It looks great but it definitely feels cheap.
And I know you probably are obligated to plug BBTS but I get them all from Show z store. They are in China but shipping is built into the price. Dinobot is 120 shipped so it’s a good saving
I just can't speak for other trailers. It's not that I'm not allowed or something. I don't know them so i can't vouch for them. I think tarantulas looks so good. I don't really care about them feeling cheap if they look good and function so cheetor will be fine for me
@ totally understand the retailer thing. All the Transart stuff looks really great and I’d say they are all worth the money for sure. Dinobot just really feels like the most thought out one.

@ yeah, he is great! I got the most recent version. Apparently there have been 3 runs and the second run was made with translucent plastic and didn’t hold up well.
I can’t help but compare them all to their original toys and while primal is a step up, it’s not the same level as dinobot, or rattrap.
If you’re looking for other 3p beastwars masterpiece things there is metagate, they made a terrorsaur, but the head looks funky, at least to me.
Then there is Trojan horse - th-01 hurricane which is Waspinator reimagined as a helicopter. I heard it’s really finicky but I think I may still pick it up eventually. they have shown a dinobot as a minesweeper truck that I think looks really badass but with these 3p companies you never know if it’ll get released or not

I actually had 86 Optimus in my hands as you pulled him up.
He's OK. Nothing spectacular, I have better for a lesser partscount (Magic Square's Legends Optimus 2.0). Deluxe G1 Optimus is the better bang for your buck and is part of the reason I got the commander (mostly to catelogue parts counts and weight; Optimus is now the second lightest commander package, just above Ultra Magnus).

Personally glad you come around to 3P figures... I am in the best looking, best functioning representative of my favourite characters on my own display.
Now then...my next question to you would be should the company that owns the IP makes the same figure but done with less care and looks less pleasing or other issues as it so often happens... will you get rid of this one and go with official product? 🤔

@AnthonyCustoms Look up Emgo's Just Transform It videos , very comprehensive transformation tutorial vids. Currently he doesnt have a video on this figure , but he will eventually get around to it. There are are already several videos already out there on this figure and its transformation , I just really happen to like his Just Transform it series.
For me if third party companies make what I want and they are good, then I'll gladly buy them. I have no loyalty to Takara

I have all Beast Wars from TransArt, I think they are the best representations of the characters, But it mixes great engineering and some diecast pieces with crappy plastic... so, for the price I don't complain but I wish they were even better quality on that section. Missing just 2 to finish the Maximals line! Tiger hawk and Depthcharge! I wonder how they would look with a wash... That will definitely improve them! just a little

I'd recommend skipping TA's Blackarachnia, if you like actually transforming your TFs. Some of its joints are also really loose, and the magnet holding her (literal) breastplate on only works with wishful thinking. I was very disappointed, especially with how pleased I was with the other TA figure I bought, Rattrap. That one is great.
Breh i liked your reviews of transformers i always waited for one when you did review one. They were nice, the transformation part its alright that cut to the alt mode. I like youre reviews too and transformers would be great also because i know you are indeed a fan too x3
I mainly buy 3rd party legends scale. I have a few one offs of larger scale like that black arachnia that came out last year. If I did collect MP scale, I would get 3rd party based on the fact Takara is slow to come out with new bots or update older ones. You really don't have a choice if you want to complete the line up, like how Takara just came out with Iron Hide, who is one of the main Autobots.
i like watching your beast wars reviews, I wish you would transform them and comment on the alt modes, but dont kill your channel over it.
The transformation is not that bad. The other 3P Dinobot 2 is a nightmare. I’m a Transformers fan and collector (my number one collection) and your channel is not a Transformers reviews channel (my observation), but do what you want (it’s your channel and do what’s best for it). Since you don’t do them often, why not do them completely? This figure is amazing. You should get TransArt Megatron; another solid figure from them. That SS86 OP is a very good figure. I collect Hasbro officials (not MP scale) and the best 3P available. My Transformers collection is every Decepticon and 25% of the Autobots.
The other TM2 Dinobot is bad compared to this time. The idea is that i could provide reviews like this more often if I'm only doing the robot mode

I grew up with Beast Wars, but the majority of my toys were transmetal. These are what hit my nostalgia the hardest. With reviews, maybe split the baby? Do it like a 2 figure review, skip the transformation but comment on it with the alt mode.
I personally love and support 3rd party. Especially transformers, and I think Hasbro recognizes this, they keep me interested in the property and give me figures Hasbro wont or cant where otherwise I probably would have moved on. The only question is the fit and finish, but theyre not really KOs and I think most are quality for the cost. Though you can get the odd horror story of a complete piece of junk or company just taking your money and running. I have seen this figure break and fall apart during transformation though.

Here's a question for you Anthony. Say that there's a hypothetical TM2 Dinobot figure that has better aesthetic and articulation if ever so slightly (due to it not having to transform). How much would it need to cost for you to give it the same final rating as this Transart version?
It would need to look and articulate a lot better if it's not transforming. It could cost the same if that's the case.
I thought only the Black Mamba version was a nightmare to transform. This one too? The only thing I like more on that one is the LED eyes

@AnthonysCustoms This one is super easy to transform, very few moving parts and you end up with a fantastic (and very big) dinosaur, takes a little to pose but you can without the tail touching the ground 😁

Just robot mode is fine. Transformations for leader and above tier transformers takes forever and can easily break parts. I only transform mine once at most
Hi Anthony. Just to let you know, it's not this figure that has the really bad transformation. it's another company that has done the same character. The 3rd party company is called Black Mamba and the figure is called Dinosaur Warrior. I've seen Jobby the Hong do a transforamtion and it is atrotious. I think it is that one people are saying is really bad. Not your one. The one you have is the better transformation process. Look up Jobby the Hong.
Btw, if you should want to try reviewing your transformers, just cut out the transformation process. As you know already, that will add more time to your videos and it takes the pressure off having to transform it in front of a camera. Also, if you've got transformers from the past, you are bound to find a review and transformation of that figure out there already.

Never been a big fan of the Dinobot II's design, so this one isn't for me. As for the robot mode reviews, I don't mind, since I gather my information on Transformers elsewhere, but I'm always interested in what you have to say, so if you do them, I'll watch.
Also, I would like you to do a review on the SS86 Optimus Prime, since I do have mine and I would enjoy knowing your opinion on the figure. I like it very much in terms of design but he feels so stiff in terms of articulations, like everything is there but the proportions and general placement of the articulation makes him look not very dynamic when posed, in my opinion. You may already be aware of it, but most of the copies out right now also have their heels reversed, where the left heel is mounted on the right foot and vice versa. I think the batches BBTS have recieved all had the heels reversed. Not a gigantic deal since it's not really noticeable and can be switched back, but still noteworthy.
Finally, I would very much advise you to read a bit from people who already bought some of Transart products in case you want to jump on that train, because I remember them being somewhat hit or miss. For example, their first release of Transmetals Tarantulas had a problem where the hinges on the base of the spider legs are prone to cracking, so please be careful before buying since these aren't cheap. I can provide some help if needed so if you have questions on specific releases, do ask !

Two TM2 Dinobots came out at the same time, and this one has the less frustrating transformation. Had it come with instructions, it may not have been so bad. The qr code does NOT work in the US, so there are no instructions.
My biggest issue is that he's too big. I have the Perfect Effect Optimal Optimus and TM2 Megatron, and he's half an inch bigger than them. I wish he was the same size as normal Dinobot. Granted, that's an issue with different companies and weird scaling in the show.
The perfect effect figures are out of scale entirely, aren't they?
@AnthonysCustoms Yeah, Beast Gorilla and Metal Dragon are half an inch to an inch shorter than this Dinobot. I was planning on having them displayed together like in the last episode, but I have to keep Dinobot in a crouching position. He should be significantly shorter than either of those two.
Also, the crotch panel is made to flip up to get waist articulation.

I prefer Transforming Transformers but I keep them in Robot mode so I guess it doesn’t matter in the end lol.
Besides, there’s enough TF Review channels out there (Emgo/Patriot Prime) and they are 10000000% Transformers exclusive channels. So yeah, doesn’t bother me that you only do Robot mode. For example I have several TF most recently 86 Commander Prime and he’s great.. Transformed his once and he had real good engineering…. He he’s staying in Robot mode.
QOTD: 3rd Party/Bootlegs don’t bother me.
For example, CT Toys is the newest and seriously, the best Bootleg company out there. Their Mafex bootlegs are excellent and their Agent Venom is incredible.
Demonical Fit/Kong is often better than SHF.
So yeah.. they don’t matter to me at all. Especially in a shitty economy or figures that are sold out (example CT with brown suit Wolverine.)
