One of the best NFS games for sure and definitely the best with the "drift on every corner" physics, the map was just made for that. It's crazy how well it has aged and how colorful it looks especially when you compare to other games from the same era which looked mostly dark and gritty.
This NFS is such a blast despite repetitive getting the ranks, the 8 unique achievement is nice to detail, welp see you next year...where you going...on The Run
This was peak NFS at the time where the brand was trying to find its identity again I remember also playing the original on the PS3 so much nostalgia came back, this was made at a time when cars were at their peak in my opinion, no regulations of emissions, no decreasing cylinder counts or using Turbos to increase Horsepower rather than making dedicated Naturally Aspirated engines. So to include proper cars with actual passion and brilliance in a game where the visuals are incredible, the soundtrack of rock & electronic, the intimidating chases & races that keep you on a knife edge till the very end sums this title up, by far the most fun NFS title till this day in my opinion whilst harking back to its roots, no customisation just pure originality. Loved the use of the NFS World soundtrack at the end too I also enjoyed playing that game
This game was the very first platinum I got back in '10 or '11. It was a relatively easy and fun one as most of the trophies I got were just by playing the game normally. Been chasing platinums ever since.
I played this at launch. It is the only game I've ever gone to a midnight release for. Now I can't speak for everyone, especially because I don't use social media such as Facebook or share photos with people, but the Autolog just existed. To me, it was whatever. I don't think people really cared about the progression updates. Sometimes I would see my time in an event got beat, and the leaderboards after events were very noticeable. If you had competitive friends, you might go back and forth on swapping the fastest time, but the real competition was online. I didn't care about the race modes without cops, it was all about that Hot Pursuit mode. The one thing I used a lot with Autolog was the photos. It wasn't about sharing them with my friends, but the game is beautiful so I would take photos and download them to my PC because the game could only hold 50 photos at a time. The Remastered version comes with all DLC, but it also fixes some bugs, including a couple that I liked. For some dumb reason, the game didn't have free roam multiplayer, just single player free roam with no objectives and no cops or racers in free roam. Having free roam rival races and pursuits like we had with NFS Rivals would have been awesome for this game. However, there were a few tracks in the original where they forgot to put up a barrier, so you could get free roam online that way. One Lamborghini DLC event (the one with the Countach) let you turn around after driving halfway, and you could have free roam with AI cops chasing you. Roadblocks they called in would spawn in front of you even outside of the track. The one problem was that if you turned at an intersection or turned around, the cops couldn't follow you, but they would respawn in front of you parked up on the side of the road and resume chasing you as you drove by. Sadly the remastered patched both these things. While Rivals is basically Hot Pursuit with those free roam options and I enjoy both games very much, I still liked my time with Hot Pursuit more. It's hard for me to say if I like this or Most Wanted (2005) more. Rivals due to having free roam races and chases adds to it's replayability factor that Hot Pursuit doesn't get.
Buddy, I subtile hear inFAMOUS' "Hunt for the Ray Sphere" @5:40... and the only thing that held this game was lack of vehicle customization and auto drive (triggers when the crash cam) but it was a fun platinum to get.
Gotta make a second comment to tell you what a good job you did on this with your narration and video editing. Also the StarCraft music means you have good taste.
Thank you so much for taking your time to leave that comment. I can see you really appreciate this game and now I can’t wait to play Rivals too. It’s always nice to meet a fellow StarCraft enjoyer!
looking back, how the fuck was 5yr old me able to complete the cop campaign with distinction in every event except rapid response, get ultimate enforcer and didn't know you could press the D-pad to use weapons for a long time?! maybe im just a pro gamer even when i was 5, but here's something else i also was when i was 5, a completionist that's why i went for distinction whenever i could…
This game has aged so well. Replayed the Remastered on the Switch and I was so impressed how well this game still holds up. Definitely the best modern NFS game, a pure speed experience.
You should do NFS Most Wanted 2012 next. One of my fav game and completed the platinum for it. There are also DLC trophies which i only need one from so we could maybe do it together
I used a majority of gaming soundtrack such as infamous, saints row, other NFS titles, as well as copyright free music (I added these in the description). If you're curious about certain pieces, let me know the timestamps and I'll be more than happy to let you know what the specific OST is playing. Thanks!
the game really gets repetitive really quickly, like 10× more than hot pursuit. it really isn't necessarily bad but lacks a bit of variety, it's just one of those games that you just played for a little bit when you were bored. even 5yr old me knew that
I gotta admit as someone who has had this platinum since 2021, thats some dedication for doing it ON THE ORIGINAL and not the remastered version.
Original still so much betterm

and the map has a lot of details and easter eggs
like prostreet easter egg
I did not expect this to be a sub 500 channel,
I fucking love this, subscribed.
NFS HOT PURSUIT 2010 is an underrated masterpiece.
Its cool that this game shares a link with Cyberpunk 2077, the voice actor for Rogue does the narration for the car descriptions.
Man that game set the tone from the literal title screen. Mad fun.

1:21 the Image as Designed music from SR3 is amazing

This video is really good I didn't think you had 500 subs wow good job

I completed the game 100% it was stressful asf, but it was worth it!
def need to play this game again, nice video!
this is some insane timing, im literally trying to get 100% in hot pursuit remastered rn
Its easy trust me
Love your videos man. unlocked 3 trophies with this in the background for The amazing spider-man on psvita lol. keep it up!
I'm working on this platinum as well, very close to getting all gold medals & I've only cried 5 times
NFS HOT PURSUIT 2010 is very well worth the time to get platinum trophy.
So many clever trophy names! Criterion is unmatched!
UA-camr tries to say "Busted" as many times as possible without raising suspicion from the algorithm:
Are you talking about how the subtitles end up saying the word ‘b*sterd’ instead
Buddy, I subtile hear inFAMOUS' "Hunt for the Ray Sphere" @5:40... and the only thing that held this game was lack of vehicle customization and auto drive (triggers when the crash cam) but it was a fun platinum to get.
I was expecting a quick rundown of the DLC achievements
Had more fun getting this platinum than I did with the newer nfs like heat and unbound lol
This dude is under rated as fuck

Another great video !
STAAANNNNDD OOUUUTTTT ON THEEEE EDGE OF THE EARTTHHHHH!!!!
Why the names from other's players in the original Hot Pursuit are censored while the remastered it remains uncensored?
Mostly because the people from the public games have no affiliation with me or my channel, whereas the censored ones are friends of my PSN account.
You should do NFS Most Wanted 2012 next. One of my fav game and completed the platinum for it. There are also DLC trophies which i only need one from so we could maybe do it together
Can you make a list of music you used in your video?

I see you did NFS shift you should do NFS shift 2 one day
The platinum on this game is easy as long as you have people to play online with
the dlc content would've helped you level up faster but i think it's delisted on the original.
5:42 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lucky...I completed every single achievement except the online ones cuz i can't get a hand on an online pass
I thought the online servers was shutdown
5:42 😂😂😂😂😂

the game really gets repetitive really quickly, like 10× more than hot pursuit. it really isn't necessarily bad but lacks a bit of variety, it's just one of those games that you just played for a little bit when you were bored. even 5yr old me knew that
Can you do Burnout Paradise Remastered next?
