@@prettysure3085 Okay, let's resolve this "fluke" issue once and for all. A fluke is something other than what you intended and planned that is out of the ordinary and still pockets your ball. A fluke involves luck, but luck is not exclusive to a fluke. A fluke is not your ball going in because you hope so. After all, everyone hopes every shot goes in. Is every shot then a fluke? No, of course not. Here are examples of the two, and hopefully you'll be able to tell the difference between the first one (where the ball jumps up), which is the fluke, and the second, where clearly Efren planned the shot and it worked. Both require luck, but only the first one is a fluke. Just tuned into this randomly popping up in my screen and low and behold, I'm immediately treated to the massive talented voice of the late great Sid Waddell. Fantastic. edit: Damn! Steve Davis too :)
I think it has to be said that 5 to 9 combo is probs one of the best shots ever recorded in 9 Ball. It's unreal. It's up there with Earl's 2 rail kick on the 9 - unreal stuff
It almost is. Efren's was more difficult because of the angle on the ball in the middle of the bank. And it was the shot deciding the match. But this 5-9 shot is absolutely shocking. This guy Jimmy is a true master.
@@ugaugauga488 there is no way Efren’s bank on the 2 was harder because he only had to contact one ball. There is no way! His Z shot maybe was better but that is a normal bank for Efren
@@hatesitrick Wait, I didn't mean in this game. The 5-9 shot is definitely harder, I agree. The 2-shot was standard, not harder. I meant the 5-9 compared to the famous Z-shot. As far as I'm concerned those are both the same because they're equally all about hitting exactly the right spot upon a double bank. Once the exact spot is hit the ball will go in, whether it's a combo or a ball on the bank. If this 5-9 shot had been in a special final game it would've been as historic as the Z-shot. How do you see it?
@@prettysure3085 stop trolling
Here they are: ua-cam.com/video/yQS5tMs-LpA/v-deo.html ................... and the second one .................. ua-cam.com/video/qKdBhPg01VA/v-deo.html.
On the 5 6 match, jimmy was trying the combo one nine to the opposite pocket and he got lucky and pocketed on the right
That's what I saw.
I think the same
Check what Jimmy really aims for at 5:37, he wanted 9 on the left or 1 in right pocket... what happend was pure luck.
I agree 💯
No, Steve Davis called out what he was going for, you think that was a coincidence at this level?
Great to see jimmy white play the great efren reyes
At 5:42 Jimmy’s 1 to 9 ! Outrageous ❤
(Edit…OMG but now I’ve seen the 5 to 9 one of the best shots I’ve ever seen 😮
It was pure luck, just look back at his preparation, he was aiming the other corner pocket, which makes sense because the 1 ball could also pocketed, so he was very lucky... and the guy is just pretending it was his original intention, that shows the character
@@lyokas4915Jimmy White is well known for trick shot ability. He’s one of the greatest of all time, he’s up there with Efren. I’ve seen him play snooker that would bend your bones lol
@@N1CK_B for sure, but on this shot again it is pure luck, just look back at his preparation and you will understand what i am saying...
Legendary players. One who stayed to give autographs, one who avoided to give any.
Which one stayed? I can't quite tell.
What a game!! 👍😸
Of course, most of us love Michaela, but! As for Efren, we love him much better!
Guys, have watched this vidoe ove rand and over again,Jimy white is a pure dangerous pool icon....so pure. Reyes is pure as well but he is just more lucky than all opponents he met. Truth be told, Jimmy white....like his name is, he was excellent and exceptional so good.
05:39 What a flawless combination for the W. Just utter beauty.
Billiards 🎱 @ it’s finest point.
Two masters with total respect and class.
There has to be a re-match.
Who would agree?
Thanks for sharing!!
from amazing shot to another amazing but the win belongs to efren reyes....a round of applause for they two legends .....give credits to jimmy white ....he give efren a though match
Eu tenho visto o 9 Ball de hoje em dia, e olha, é assustadora a disparidade. Esses dois (e não esquecendo do Earl) são infinitamente melhores que todos da geração atual.
The mid 80s to early 00s are the most amazing period in sport, every sport I can think of. Nothing will probably ever compare
I wish that all pool shows are like this to where they show the viewers the ball sequence to which it helps the viewer get a better sense of the ball positioning layout on the table. In this way the viewers does not have to try to spend the time figuring out or second guessing the sequencing arrangement of the balls.
Michaela looking good, as always.
I was wondering if Michaela was the referee. Thanks.
I agree: As always.
Fantastic - remember watching this live
