I’m also on Ravelry as Mamaof2, although I’m not super active on there. We are a family of four, working hard to eat healthily, live frugally, pay off our mortgage early and save/invest for retirement. We’ve lived below the poverty line for many years and have now got our heads above that line. Our household income remains well below the national average in the UK but we have paid off all of our debt, including our mortgage.
It’s all hands on deck to save and invest for our retirement and for our children’s futures. We hope that we can put them in a position where they don’t have to struggle financially, as we have, and that we can break the generational cycle of poverty that we have experienced.
We all have different issues with food, including food sensitivities, so I shop to work around those considerations.
If you have found anything in this video useful, please give me a thumbs up and subscribe for more healthy eating and frugal living with a debt-free purpose .

I started off with an oven style iron fryer which cooks really well but is horrible to clean, so is now relegated to no spattering jobs. I got the TurboBlaze a couple of months ago and I love it. Use it for pretty much everything
Hi Tess, really enjoyed this video. I never thought about getting an air fryer as i didn't think it would be much use, but you explained everything so well and make it look really easy to use, I could see myself using one of these pretty much everyday! Wishing you all a very happy Christmas 🎄 🎉
I am pretty sure ours gets used every day at some point. 🙂
I really enjoyed the video Tess, interesting to see the variety of things you can do with an air fryer in one video!
It's very versatile. I was genuinely impressed. I've even made toast in it when my toaster died haha.
Great having you back great video ❤
What a great video, really instructive and so helpful to go through everything stage by stage. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this, thank you!👍
I'm so pleased it was helpful. I was concerned it might be too long, but I was enjoying myself so much. 😁
I’d be doing a happy dance with the proofing setting! My house is cold so this would be perfect! My son has proofing on his oven which is also grand.
I absolutely loved it. I'm sure you could tell 🙂.
Excellent demonstration. Wish I had got a single drawer air fryer it looks like it's so easy to use and love the different functions. Have a lovely week 😊
Have you got a dual drawer one Jenny? Like a ninja?
Yes I have .I just find it a bit complicated, it looks like the the inside of a cockpit 😂. So many things on the panel you have to press. I'm useless with anything tike that 😂
@@jennyconroy1658 Oh that's a shame. I feel the same at times with technology. Does it do lots of different things?
Hi Tess, after watching your first air-fryer video I started looking, however after our daughter overheard me telling my husband about it she told me not to bother. This meant she had bought me one for Christmas, Its a deviant which I didn't want so at least Ive got one now.I;ll have to e=wear stout so I can buy a Cosori.
That is awesome! You can have some fun with it for now at least 😃
Looks wonderful, especially the proving and drying functions.Great demonstration.
Glad you liked it!
What a nice informative video. It's nice to see what others cook. The dehydrator is something I've always wanted but never have taken the plunge 😂
I was so excited ot see I could dehydrate in it.
Thanks Tess.
Love Emily D!! Loved this video too. I have a Ninja Speedi which has a lot of these features. Love it and use it more than my oven
Great video! This air fryer is very easy to use and can do so much! Thanks for showing all the different functions! The food you made also looked delish! I am in the U.S. so I can't enter, but I think I will buy one! They are on offer on Amazon and I have some points! Happy Christmas to me! 😄. Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! Hopefully this will be a better year for everyone!
It's very good. If you buy one Candace, would you consider using my link to the air fryer which is below this video? I don't get any commission or anything, but it let's Cosori know that you've used my link. 🙂 Thank you 🙂
I live in the States I have a large Hamilton Beach toaster oven that I use instead of my oven an air fryer is not in my budget so I use what I have. Love seeing your videos
Good on you Debbie. Using what we have is the best way.
that food looked amazing....would really love to try dehydrated oranges....they make a perfect xmas tree decoration
They smell lovely on the tree too 🙂
Lovely, informative video. Everything about the air fryer was well explained.(uk based)
Brilliant video Tess! Loved it x
Thank you 😊
I've been looking at air friers so was excited to watch this video. I do like my eggs the same as yourself though I'm not sure we have that brand here in Aus.
You can buy Cosori air fryers in Australia too 🙂
So good to see you bk with regular videos Tess. Love watching you, you seem super excited on this video haha you must of really enjoyed the Air Fryer 😂😂🎉
I'm easily pleased 😂
@@Tess-FrugalLiving I felt the same way the first time I used my Instant pot. I'm still addicted to the thing ahha
@@punkyfish1977 Instant Pots are fantastic. I use ours every week to make yogurt.
@@Tess-FrugalLiving I've not made yoghurt in mine. Is it easier than the slow cooker method Tess?
@@punkyfish1977 I haven't used the slow cooker method, but I think it's pretty standard, whichever way you do it. I've made yogurt in a flask and in the instant pot. They both involve heating the milk and then cooling it. Adding yogurt and then keeping warm for about 8 hours. Is that what you would do in a slow cooker?
Hi Tess great video. What has happened to Jo, missing her .xx
Jo closed her channel down quite a while ago. She is well and happy though. I see her regularly. X
@@Tess-FrugalLiving Thanks for letting me know. Hope you and your family had a great Christmas. When you see Jo let her know she is missed. Xxxx
Hi Tess, thank you for doing this video, it was amazing seeing all your delicious looking food ❤. I've sent you an email aswell, if I've done it right 🙈. Have a lovely Christmas love Sarah. Xx
Thank you. I honestly had the best time playing with it haha. I've got your email. Good luck 🙂
I like it for boiled eggs. They come out lovely and so quick.
Really? How do you boil an egg in the air fryer? Does it need to be in water?
No water. Large eggs on the privet, 150°c 8 mins for soft 10 mins for medium. Bring out into a bowl of cold water til you're ready to eat.
@@tonijones8646 Wow! I have to try that. Thank you 😊
Hi Tess, this looks great. I have a airfryer oven with 3 shelves its great but a pain to clean. xx
Urgh, I like easy cleaning. Cleaning is bad enough without it being extra hard :-)
Hello luv..great to see you..very interesting vlog..have a great Christmas 🌲🌲 x
Hi Jan 😃. I hope you're well? X
@@Tess-FrugalLiving yes thanks..very well..😘👍
@@janw1746 That's good to hear. 🙂
How fun!!!
Your recipes look sooooo yummy. Question: do you eat the skin on the butternut squash? TYFS ❤️
Yes I do!
@@Tess-FrugalLiving TY 💕
Nice bread.
It was good 🙂
Great videoTess. I am on my own and use my airfryer all the time. Never use the oven now but I have never tried cooking an egg . I'm about to try it.
Merry Christmas to you all
I hope it works out ok for you. 🙂

Ooh, I'll check them out too. I love watching along with live trials.
What happened to Frugal Jo?
😊🎄🎀🎄😊
When the top got burnt, could you have laid it on its side to finish cooking?
I maybe could have. The dough had only been in there 5 mins so would still have been dough inside. Perhaps I could have just reshaped it.
if it takes that long for meat you might as well doing it the oven
